How house was built in 2007 and we moved in 2008.
By then every bills was paid, including Borehole drilling.

I think there are too many criminals in Aba, Abia State. They go around posting fake bills for people to pay.
Also the local government seems to be selling unusual contracts to criminals, they come up with new things every day.

There are so many bills we are getting, including huge amount of electricity bills (though it's been reduced a bit these days but has started to increase again)

Last year, some people came for Borehole license and health cook and bush stories. After all the Landlord meetings and we were told to pay 20k for two certificates related to Borehole. We were told that once the money is paid for the certificates, no one will disturb us again about Borehole. We tried and gathered 20k and paid for this 2 stupid certificates below in December 2017.




So you struggle to build a house and put your own water that the government cannot give you, you still pay them for it.
They don't even do any verification or anything, once you pay the money you get the certificate.
Now in 2018 we still get other Borehole bills from other groups, all claimed to be working under Aba North LGA and/or Abia State Government.

They even threatened people with court papers.

They even wrote their bank account number with pen, we should now go and pay 30 something K.



They said earlier that this Capitation Rate is paid per working Adult person and not per building, yet they put a fix price and put in houses without knowing how many people in that house and how many working adults. They even announced with microphone 2 days ago, that the police will come next Monday to make arrests.

Please your advice will be appreciated.
Is not like we don't want to pay anything at all, there things like Landlords Levy, Sanitation etc that we are used to and do pay in due time.
People are suffering and can barely eat 3 square meals per day, is hard to save any money paying electricity bills alone talkless of all other bills.

Please help me mention the admin, see if the post can be moved to FT.
Please suggest a better title for this post, I am not very good at it.
I should find a way to send this to Abia State Government for verification.
