Time is Life

Time. Before now has been a very phenomenal thing. What has really affected us in this part of the world is that we do not value it, and that’s why we are where we are today. Let me start by debunking our mentality in this part of the world. There is no African Time, Time is Time. One of the reasons why we are so backward in Africa is because of our inappropriate use of time. Dr Myles Munroe said when the use of a thing is unknown, abuse is inevitable. We have abused time in Africa because we do not really know the use of time and we need to have a rethink.

Ecc 3:1 “TO EVERYTHING there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven”

The book of Ecclesiastes chapter 3 is a complete guide to us on time management. It tells us that there is time for everything. And if you look really, time is everything and everything is nothing without time. Until we come to this realization, we still have a long way to go.

Another thing to debunk is the statement, “I am whiling away time”. Nobody on the surface of the earth can while away time. If you while your own time, you can not while away my own time, so nobody has a personal time, time is relevant to everybody and what it simply imply is that, whiling away time is wasting of time and wasting of time is wasting of life.

You see, our God is a God of time and seasons. So he deals with us as such and when its time for us to do something and we missed it, it takes grace to come back. When Jesus was on earth, he did one thing per time. When it was time to preach, he preached. When it was time to perform miracle did. When it was time to pray, he prayed.

Just imagine If Jesus had not given his life, when he did. Infact Jesus knew the time he was going to be nailed to the cross, he knew who will betray him, because all that is pertaining to time.
