Bro,its Intel802 and not Astra 2abd.We in Zambia dont recieve the signal from Astra 2abd.

cnn on nss7/c is fustrating can't even get up to 40%

@Ilish when i 1st bought my 69 decoder 2yrs ago,strong zambia installed those goodies on Astra 2abd.thats the satelite on which they install them in all the decoders they sale here in lsk.and besides we dont have intel 802 in our decoders here.so we are used to astra 2abd,i know it contains some uk channels which are not receivable here in zed.

Pls oo gurus@GEORGE D,im presently installing a 2.5m comstar mesh dish wit a ku & c-band lnb.d installer is giving me a funny gist dat c-band wud nt work becos of a certain equipment MTN installed in my area,in fact he has been trying to track c-band freqs for 2days now witout success,it keeps fluctuating btw green&red.has any persons been experiencing this interference too? If not pls help me profer a solution to this quagmire.im in Ekpan near Warri DELTA STATE.

Your installer is right. If you've been following the thread from season 3, I also experienced such issues with my comstar dish after installation. My area is not very far from yours.
Tell him to use a STRONG K6 c band lnb. That will solve the problem.

thoz goodies r not on Astra 2ab.the installer might jst have used Astra 2ab bcoz lyk u said there isnt Intelsat 802 or galaxy 11 on most decordrs.unles if u upgrade the software thats wen it ll bring 33 deg as Eurobird.bt most of thm dnt hav 33 deg.
Etv was on intel 802 at 33 deg wile Astra 2ab is at 28.2deg.so the actual position of the goodies is 33deg not 28.2 deg.

@ gadator i saw a 65cm dish pointing eastwards, precisely w4/w7, astra2b, but looking upwards like between 1degree to 10 degrees. on enquiring, i was told it's sirius. how many sirius satellite do we have and which one is that. i also learnt it has chinese channels on it. please help.
