The second gun there is an m16 riffle, it's more accurate than the am 47 these guys mean business, even the guns they give to the armies to fight boko haram from a video I watch the guns are not even automatic or even have burst mode judging from the single shots the soldier kept on firing at the boko guys, looked like a commercial assault riffle. Only at close range bro that's what the AK meant for, that m16 riffle effective at long distance range and has less recoil, ak as high recoil rate which can make it difficult to hold and maintain when firing from it in automatic mode.

yeah you're right.
AK47 was meant to shoot at 200m. AK47 is inferior to M16 in many aspect but AK47 is more durable, cheap, reliable and has more damaging effect than M16.
So it is not entirely a bad gun perse. It was very successful in helping the soviet war force. I don't think AK is the problem here. The army lack other war machine like T7 tanker and powerful fighter jet together with gun ammunition and solid strategic plans. it seem the bokoharam are always a step ahead and again the boko haram engage majorly in guerilla warfare. The soldier need an intelligence team to properly investigate this Boko Haram properly.
