Make what you will of Vela's discipline with this news but I think it allows him to be fully commited to arsenal for the duration of this ban from Mexico's team so it can only be our gain. My belief about Chelsea this season is that they have an unbelievable first 11 but they won't cope if they lose any or both of Drogba and Essien for any long period as their squad as a whole is not really strong as it used to be, it might actually benefit them to exit the CC early.

Chelsea and City out and Liverpool look to be following them, some really big teams are dropping from the CC early.
