dis simply means dat our online and manual clearance is definately gonna be january

guy pls when is manual clearance starting ,is it from feb 5th or b4 resumption.

@esuso,since d resumption date is 5th feb.definately d reg/clerance shuld run tru january.do not panic at all.

I want to know if one can be able to switch from a course to another cos I'm considering switching course when I get to school.

yes egobiamu, it's possible to switch but,please note that it's not going to be easy.
and i hear it's after your 100 level before you are allowed to switch.

Yes you can change but make sure the course you are changing to is related to the course you are changing from. Make sure you get a 4.0gp and above. Make sure you've got your #10000 ready. Then once all those are settled, you begin second year in your new course

The online clr's in january, Bear also in mind dt resumption in february as stated in d calendar implies commencement of manual clr.(a week aftr temporary accomodation commences).

are you saying that manual clearance is going to start when we resume or a week after?

awfar guys what afegbua trying to say is dat if we are to resume on feb 5 it will be for manual clearance and for manual clearance we will be given temporary clearance for the clearance which wil be at ogbowo.

@all,i have been wanting 2 speak 2 a friend of mine who schools in uniben. just yesterday i was fortunate.he told me dat the online clearance is easy but one has 2 b careful going about,so as not 2 make mistake.in d online clearance we will b asked 2 upload ur birth certificate or age declaration,ur Ssce certificate,or statement of result,or printout from computer.(dats depending on d tym u finished school) will b uploaded,ur Acceptance letter wil b uploaded,ur Guarrantor letter will also b uploaded,ur orignal jamb result will b uploaded,ur affidavit which include (Good conduct,and non member ship of cult and ur admission leter,but dis year u can use d one 4rm jamb.also u will list out ur Ssce subject and d grades,apart 4 ur certificate.He also stressed on saying dat it is neccessary but not compulsory 4 one 2 cum 2 benin 4 d online clearance,dat one can stay anywhere in nig and register ur online clearance provided u know d normal procedeurs or steps.he also said dat d testimonial and local govt certificate is not dat required,but if u have it nothing do u is a plus.then 4 d manual clearance,i is easy just dat u have 2 do a little exercise,i wont call it stress.u will make photocopy of all d doc u used 4 d online into seven places each,and also seven envelops,seven passport and seven stamps.den u will put all dis photocopied doc in each of d envelop.d only obstacle 2 encounter is the ques.but by his grace we will all succed.praaa,

xup benites pls i am having a little prob ,dere was a mistake on my waec cert(date of birth) n i av sworn an afidavid to cover that ,d thing is that will i b uploading d afidavid during online clearance or wait til manual clearance b4 i present it and also my admission on jamb site still states that i was admitted into auchi poly instead of uniben so how am i suppose to print original admission latter 4rom jamb site? abeg ur comment maters alot.

You wait still manual clearance. I have the same problem,but i am now using the age on the waec result.

There is nothing difficult in doing the online clearance if you know how to operate computer and can read. Online clearance cannot take you more than 15mins at most.

And to clarify, Uniben don;t give FREE accommodation, you will pay for it,it is 5500naira,(sometin like that).

@chubi i was admitted into medicine and surgery, but we are having accreditation problem for now knowing very well it wont affect our set but the upcoming year 1 i halla uooooooooooooooo.

@Esuso.u did d right tin by swearing an affidavit on d mistake of date of birth.u will not upload it during ur online clearance,just wait till d manual clearance begins den u can show it 2 dem.den 4 d admission status 4rm jamb,did u put awuchi poly as ur school of choice,maybe u have be admitted over der.but jamb dis year made sure dat an individual is not given admision in 2 different school.nevertheles i think d second case is a bit serious,so i advice u go 2 jamb office at once 2 lay ur complain so it can b sorted out.dont panic

@ossy90, u ar totally ignoring what afegbua is posting but i tell you what, you will find it useful when you get to school, because freshers are exploited to the fullest especially when you proud yourself as one. hence the differentiating factor is your use of the schools 'slangs', so i think you should better take note of those even if you dont need them presently they will surely come handy when u get to school.
