I'm assuming I'd need it to show my age, no?

Jennypharb1:

Are you going to make use of the birth certificate for the EE process? If not, there's no use adding unnecessary documents.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by Stencil: 6:20pm On May 20, 2019
Oh then you don't need it. It isn't a document people submit unless claiming sibling points.
Please don't complicate your application. They specifically requested passport only. That is enough and they know how to verify these details anyway. smiley

Zara01:
Not at all, I assumed it will be relevant in showing age, no? The International Passport bio data page will suffice?

Hello everyone,

I got a mail from WES on the 13th of this month that they have sent my documents to The federal polytechnic Ilaro for Verification. And it was clearly stated in the mail that there is nothing I need to do.

Please what can I do so that my institution will respond on time?
Do anyone have contact in Fed poly Ilaro?

Thanks as I await your responses.

Good day, nairalanders.

Pls, I have a question.

A health care personnel here in Nigeria, wishes to study for a second degree in medicine in Canada, but due to the cost of tuition in Canada is contemplating trying out the permanent residency.

So, when he gets to Canada, he can work for a while with his first degree and save up for the second degree he dreams of.

Pls, is there any contrary better option, opinion or advice
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by amaya21: 7:11pm On May 20, 2019
A lot of people have gone on to do second or third degrees after landing as permanent residents in Canada. Plus, tuition for permanent residents is far less than tuition for international students.

The person should go ahead with PR.

Guess writing funnily and dramatically runs in the family. You and your sister wrote interesting stories, drawing beautiful pictures with your words.

I hope we get to meet and hangout some day over there.

@ladymarshall, please mark this script with plagiarism in mind. Compare his and dumprep's script. If necessary, call them into separate rooms and give them new paper to ascertain who wrote the two.

Boss we dey together o. I dey picture every scenerio of the process leading to PPR like say I dey there. Then @hephgirl our frenemy grin grin grin

Hello kind people

I'm at crs 441 and considering taking up CIMA Business Accounting cert. for a second degree/diploma/certificate. Anyone here got positive WES evaluation? Please could you share screenshot of the summary?

My consultant is saying it will not receive a "Completion of a college-level certificate (one year)" but they could be lying to try and get more money.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you friends!

Hello house, I asked earlier about WES registration if I should choose standard delivery or tracking delivery. If I choose standard will it take so much time to reach me. What are the disadvantages compared to tracking.

Choose tracking. I chose ‘no tracking’, still don’t have a copy of my wes certificate since January. Sent them an email to request for it, I was told it can’t be tracked. Now I have to pay that money I was avoiding.

Thank you

You don't even need the hard copy for EE. Doesn't really matter which one you choose per se.

It's either your consultant is lying or doesn't know the process. Your can claim 2 or more certificates with CIMA and there is a WhatsApp community of people preparing to take the exam. You can PM me and I will share the WhatsApp details with you.

I'm new to the forum so not sure how to send you PM embarassed I've gone to your profile and sent an email message, hope that's right

lol *staff (Has no plural)

TLDR: You guys have an extremely good chance.

You and your husband should both do IELTS, evaluate your degrees as well.

Your husband should also do the french language test thing (more info on page 1).

From my little calculation, with him as the PA, you guys can get as much as 470 (assuming he only has a Bachelors degree, and you guys max out your language scores) which is more than enough for you to receive an ITA. You don't need to max out your scores to get ITA though (fiddle with the CRS tool thing)

As you must have seen multiple times, go through Page 1, there's plenty information there

kakeit:
good afternoon everyone, please just want to start our journey to Canada and will really appreciate all your guidance. my husband studied French in the university and has worked in the bank for 10 years and at the same time he teaches French to staffs in the banking hall, in a nut shell (he speaks, writes and understand French very well) .he will be 34 by may 27
I studied computer science in the university and I have been a baker by profession for five year now. my age 26 . we have to kids age 3 and 2

No, your passport will suffice. The only reason I think you'd need it is to prove sibling relationship that is if you're claiming sibling points for your ITA

Be encouraged in the Lord my brother/ sister cos it will definitely end in praise. Have u requested for your GCMS? Do u have an idea of what the interview is about? Go prepared and go with God. Also, there is a WhatsApp group for ACCRA candidates with interview request. Just search and follow. You’ll be fine

There has been a backlog of applications since waec examinations started. Only one person is processing that of WAEC at the moment and they have over a 100 applications a day..although all are not going to wes. So it may take a while.

But 5th should be ready.. I said should oo. Ask your courier to check again.
The back logs started mid April shortly before easter. Unless it wasn't submitted on time.

Journey started August last year, my ex and I broke up 2 months before and I remember seeing one Canadian agent’s cArd in his wallet. I sha snapped it and never bothered about it. He wanted to go to Estonia as he was into IT and hoped to get shengien visa. I did my research on Nairaland too and sent him the link, we both read. My dumb ass really wanted to go with him as per the “LOML” when I knew fully well Estonia was never in my bucket list after the breakup I realized I wanted Canada or Australia instead of the Estonia I was researching on. I carried myself to Nairaland and read the express entry thread for both countries and concluded Canada was easier and left Australia.

Sometimes in September 2018 or there about another bobo waka come that wan said it was Australia he was going to that he preferred it cos of distance and he won’t have to look back to naija again. Omo na so I borrow myself brain sharp sharp I told him I’m not doing oh before another boy comman ruin my career for me

Right now I don’t have a passport Cos my dog ate it, and no! I wasn’t careless. The dog picked it from my opened bag on the floor in my room. (lesson here, be extra careful with your documents) and the new one isn’t ready yet but it should be out before 15 days I have to submit my passport for VISA.

PS I’ve been a very active nairaland user since 2011 but I had to create this dummy profile so that my village people will not trace me on my main account. God bless you all, God bless Seun Osewa for this wonderful platform. God bless God for been God.
Congratulations dear, your sense of humour and optimism is out of this world and it is highly contagious too. That your dog na real village people o, but your are just too optimistic to even be angry with anybody or anything. I tap into your positivity. May favour find you in the new Land. Then I must say you've got eyes for abroad bound bonos o wink.
In other news @topsmamen don make catching up hard o but he really deserves all the accolades. I still dey come, some pit stops here and there.

I have an Msc already. Just asking to see if there are other ways to improve score.

With 8777, I will be on 447, will loose 5point soon because of birthday.

The only option now is to get 8.5,8,7,7.5 in order to add 8more points to reach 450.

Adding another certificate won't make any difference unless it's a PhD. so I suggest you give IELTS another shot and try to max it out this time. In the meantime let's keep praying for the scores to drop. Ideally 447 isn't bad at all.

It will end well for you and everyone else waiting.

Hi nairalanders. Pls I need your advices. I and my hubby are planning to relocate our family (of three) to Canada. We both had overall bands of 7 in Ielts and our consultant says we will likely need a PNP to boost our scores. Our transcripts was delivered to IQAS since 7th of March 2019 and till date we haven't received an acknowledgement mail from them. My questions are:

1. Has anyone here experienced such delay in acknowledgement with IQAS and how long more do you think we have to wait?
2. Has anyone here done a PNP before and how can we do it on our own because we really don't want to use a consultant again to save cost.

I will be waiting for your helpful responses. Thanks

You're good to go with CIMA's BA certificate.

Ditch the consultant and replace him/her with page 1.
