It's same case bro. They sought to stop him from parading himself as chairman on the basis of his allege suspension from his ward but the court struck out the suit with a fine of 100k against them. It's the same oshawo and co.

Oshiomole is not perfect, certainly, just like all of us.
Obaseki we know, very desperate and will go to any length because he wants a second term and sees Oshiomole, as party chairman, must be the one who will forward his name to INEC, the same Oshiomole he has attacked several times and even barred from coming to his own house in Edo, without his permission! shocked shocked

Some Governors are also ganging-up against Oshiomole ebcause they think they should be the most powerful voice in the party and not the National Chairman!

But the greatest problem of Nigeria at this moment, are these stupid and corrupt Judges, especially in this era of Tako the Sharia Supreme Judge!
Its is unheard-off in law, that a Judge worth his wig, will give relief to an application, without hearing the defendant!

Even moreso, a Party has the right to elect its own `Chairman and since Oshiomole was validly elected by the Party, what right and intrerest does a Judge have, to try to remove him, just to please some vested interest ?
It seems Nigerians are now at the mercy of these foolish and corrupt Nigeria Judges!
They would quash the democratic choice of the people and elect Governors for them!
They would dabble into what is not their remit
They would collect Bribe and give fake Judgements, throwing the country into chaos!

The whole brain behind this "remove Oshiomole" is the governor fo Edo State, Godwin Obaseki but he will realise when it is too late for him, that criminality that he is playing with, does not pay

It is a gross abuse of Power, for a sitting Governor to tell the NATIONAL CHAIRMAN of his party,a two time Governor of the same state, that he cannot come home to visit his mother on rest in his country home, without the permission of you the Governor!
How many of us first go to the Governor of our state of origin, to ask for his permission before we can travel home for Chrostmas?
Thay is how Power Drunk this Obaseki has become and l am certain the good people of Edo State will see beyond premordial sentiments and put this "dictator-in-the-making", in his place by ensuring he does not get a second term.

Andd that Thug of a deputy Governor called Shuaibu, will get what he deserves, at the right time.

I hope Oshiomole also learns a lesson from this, that Power. is Transient, he should be less of a Fake Labour Leader. undecided

He has nothing to lose. The Party Constitution already settles that. He could not be suspended because he is a national officer.

I hope the good people of Edo state would not allow this Obaseki to set them up for the declaration of a state of Emergency, by the President, through the NASS.

Obaseki is very desperate for a Second term but he knows that having bitten the finger that fed him, how on earth will Oshiomole, as party National Chairman, submit his name to INEC, for a second term? grin grin
That is why he is very desperate to get Oshiomole out of Office before September when the nomination for election will take place!
Obaseki is losing time, for each day that passes, l hope he will not murder oshiomole because that seems to be the only way to remove this "short obstacle" that he had threatened and abused to no end. undecided grin

Just one electoral Ward suspending a national chairman, of a ruling party for that matter, elected by over 8000 electoral Wards.

I don't know how logical it could be.

It's a signal that one day, a Ward will suspend Mr President / Governor and court will stop him from parading himself as President / Governor.

PDP should not rejoice over APC Chairman bcoz what goes round comes around.

Nigerian political class are the same irrespective of the party affiliation.

The precedence can be used by PDP tomorrow against its members.

And the people rejoicing niow will soon start gnashung their teeth.
These people dont know what it means, to transcend the Waed level and move to the state level and finally arrive at the national level.
These ignorant people and the Judge dont know that it is only the NWC of the party, which elects National Officers, that can remove National officers!
You cant give what you dont have.
Ward level members dont have the Power to elect a National Officer (Not to even mention a National Chariman who superceeds all other officers of the party!), so how can they now have the Power to remove someone they dont have the Power to elect?
He is not a ward Chairman for God's sake!
It is commonsense though it is not that common, if you are one of those who dislike Oshiomole.

The only way a Ward can have a say in Oshiomole's remval is to pass their petition to the NWC of the party, who will then call for a Vote at the National level.
Imagine if one ward can remove a National Chairman while the other over 8,000 wards still want him as their National chairman, will that not be a violation of democratic principles?

Its time the NJC starts derobing all these useless Judges that collect money and give out unreasonable Judgements and causing chaos all over. We cant have "absolute Judges" in a very corrupt environment like Nigeria

With the Appeal judgement is suspended and he is still in the office pending the determination by the Appeal court.

He's appealing against the Judgment of the Abuja high Court, for now the Judgement remains stands, pending the outcome of his appeal.

He stands removed , final case, if he tries to appeal we shall site all the backyard dealings in previous cases in which he was privy. He has finished his 'agbero' job. Right now they do not need all that energy, he should go and put it into productive ventures at home and sleep in his mansion.
