Should we now say that they're tired of this lifeless administration?

Can't you use your brain for once?

Don't they deserve to be reunited with their families after being trapped in Nigeria beyond their usual work rotation due to Corona virus?

Are Nigerians who were evacuated from US and UK tired of the lifeless leaders there?

We don't need racist indians
Re: 270 Indian Workers At Dangote Company Depart Nigeria by kayjay69(m): 12:21pm On Jun 05, 2020
Hopefully they never return.

Dangote should invest in Nigerians. I am more than certain the role these indians occupy can definitely be done by people amongst the 180million Nigerians.

I really hate when I read news like this or hear of Nigerian companies employing foreigners to do jobs that Nigerians are clearly competent and capable of doing. If I can't get gainful employment in my own backyard, of what use is the backyard.

This s**t has to change.

This is not unconnected = This connected

This is not unripe = This is ripe.

It's a grammatical mathematics.

They left because of poor way Nigeria is handling COVID 19.

Indian labour no cheap

It's cheap compared to other Asian countries who may as well have the skills to the job. These guys are experienced building refineries. India is an oil consuming nation, they are more into the downstream than upstream, so they have so many refineries and as such weather of experience in building them. Their labour is relatively cheap.

Indian labour no cheap

It is cheaper compared to other expatriates.

Using Indian contractor to build his refinery is way cheaper than European experts.

I don't think they are employees of Dangote group. Some weeks back, some indians protested against their employer who deployed them to dangote refinery to work during lockdown without providing adequate safety measures. I guess their country saw the video and acted on it.

Not true. There is limited skill in refinery engineering in Nigeria. The contractors are Indians and they brought in skilled and semiskilled experienced labourers from their country. Hundreds of Nigerians are also undergoing training in India.

Dangote is trying his best. He is the arguably the largest private employer of labour in Nigeria.

With the level of unemployment in Nigeria why bringing in so much Indians to work on the Dangote project. Are they doing jobs that are so specialized that we cannot find indegenous workers or is it a case of thinking non Nigerians or non Africans are better.

Indian labour no cheap in Nigeria. The least pay for unskilled indian labour is around 250k sent straight to Indian with feeding and free accommodation. Skilled Indians collect nothing less than $2500 to $5,000

These ones protested that they are made to work during lockdown. That's they are sending them back another batch is coming

I wonder why dangote will need 270 workers from India alone in a country of over 100 million available work force.

It's not untrue that our educational system is not in order, but adequate training will fill the gap.

Oh so that's what you think? Well there may be better organised hospitals but their doctors are not more spectacular than ours!
What about the society? Is it anywhere better than the Nigerian society? No. Everywhere stinks there. What about the people? Highly racist. Now do you know that Indians everyday beg to get jobs in Nigeria? Bros do not rejoice. Go and check all these for yourself.

be decieving your own self by your self... 250k koor 1 million k nii

are we talking of the same indians? the poor guys who would work construction under harsh sun for equivalent of 40 - 50k as long as you can camp them in a crowded labour camp?

oga you clealy dont know indians and your perception is based on few people from northern indian states like mumbai.... a man from Karale would gladly jump on work permit to escape poverty even if the pay is 50k naira

Nigerians are not skilled and sometimes lazy. That why employers use Indians. Most factories you see around are owns by Indians fronting Nigerians or vis versa
