@Mabell, the sooner you stopped posting on this thread the better; You are humiliating Oyaks, and its becoming amusing. grin grin grin cheesy grin cheesy cheesy cheesy grin

Naaa. . . me thinks not. The way things run at CEC, members can hardly say anything outside of what they've heard pastor christ say (thanks to not having time to study scriptures for oneself). . . I'll actually be surprised if she's not quoting him or some other pastor verbatim. grin

and that's what I call amusing grin grin grin

True word cool
Believe it or not, I only knew about CEC in 2006 thru a congolese friend of mine. He invited me to attend a midweek service in Manchester UK. During the service, the name of Pastor Chris was mentioned more than the name of Jesus. It was always "Pastor Chris said this! Pastor Chris said that! We also read from the ROR more than the bible. Come see the Pastor Chris wannabes. To get the crowd going, the resident pastor had to impersonate OYAKS. Very absurd

I thought, who are we worshiping here?  undecided

Am sure when you heard his name you immediately heard his quotes like I know who iam,and more thus inspiring those  in the service, and my dear we use the bible veer well an encourage studying the scriptures, even in theROR we have daily bible reading and also have a plan to either complete studying of the bible in one or two years.

I was not criticizing but commenting on my honest observation.

Just another question.

Why is Pastor Chris always shown on Live screen on service days. Doesn't he have a resident pastor? This can be very distracting. He seems to be everywhere. Doesn't he trust the residence pastors?

Just another observation cool

Brilliant cool

Inspiring those in the service to do what idolizing Oyaks the more embarassed you guys are just a bunch of miserable misguided deluded clowns. Must people hear oaks name or see his irritating images before they get inspired to worship God? or hear from God? When would you mumus realize hat this is idolatory and against the will of God.

Bottomline

In regards to modernizing the Gospel, CEC are showing the way. However they have to be careful so that modernization and innovation does not lead to compromises whereby Church growth takes precedence over Spiritual growth of the flock. Then all will be in vain. I do not know much about the ministry and Pastor Chris. I have read one of his rare interviews and he seems genuine based on what I read. Therefore I refuse to be critic.

My philosophy is that if via CEC one soul is saved on a daily basis, GLORY BE TO GOD smiley

I pray that the "WILL" of God will reign. cool

@Free123
Well if you must know just like it is today not everybody considered them anywhere near genuine!
Question: What is the bench mark for qualifying a miracle to genuine?
