Good morning everyone, I have my proof of funds as an investment with FBN money market funds, I want to liquidate the amount into my savings account. Please what do I need to update IRCC with? |

Please I have a question to ask, there’s a friend of mine her CRS is in the 440s, she has only 1 degree, already ACCA chartered so she can’t get 2 degrees via the diploma method. She’s in a relationship and her bf has a masters the original plan was for them to apply together as a common law. However now that we aren’t sure what IRCC would do, they could do a huge FSW draw ( I know highly unlikely) that will get to her score, do you think she should enter the pool? and if she does is it possible for her to indicate her relationship status as common law so that there will be no contradictions when she eventually wants to apply with her bf? Because as it stands her bf hasn’t done ielts. |

temmitats: I would advise your friend to: 1) thoroughly digest page 1 2) review this link for the requirements of common law partners to see if she can provide what is required: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html 3) search nairaland using keywords: "acca 2 degrees" and review the CRS grid (also on page 1) to see if/how she can evaluate her ACCA in addition to her other degree (if it is a 3 year degree) and claim 2 degrees instead of 1. 4) enter the pool regardless of her CRS provided she has ECA and IELTS results.

Hello Everyone, I have got few questions and would be glad If I get an answer. 1. I got my IELTS result today with RLSW 7, 8, 7, 7. My total point is 451 alone, and with my partner (RLSW 6.5, 6.5, 6.5, 6) who has a brother in Canada 461. We both have two or more certificates. What are my or our chances without taking another IELTS or French course? I have a lot on my plate at the moment. 2. I currently study in Germany, however, still work for my company in Nigeria remotely as a Builder. Should I add it to my work experience? At the moment, I only work 20 hrs weekly. Usually, I work full time. 3. I have 2 kids with my partner In Nigeria but planning to go to Canada alone. Do I need to provide the $24,000 for 4 people or just $12,000 for me alone? Finally, how long must it stay in my account? Too many questions I would be so glad if I get a response. Thanks |

Good evening everyone. My AOR is 25th October 2019 Eligibility passed 7th March 2020 Criminality passed 7th March 2020 However, security background verification has not been initiated (over a year) Raised a webform last week and got a response today with same - "security background verification has not been initiated" Is there anyone with a similar experience? 1 Like |

builderperry: 1. If your wife is younger (less than 29) and she maxes the IELTS (8777/LRSW), her score comes up to 479. She can be the Principal Applicant 2. If you have more than 3 years experience, then there's no point including the remote work experience 3. Whether you land Canada alone or with your family, you need to show POF for family of 4. |

Hello, Pls I need your help. I did a WES USA is 2019 for educational purposes. Then this year I sent an email to WES USA to send my documents to WES Canada for immigration purposes. And WES USA included my WAEC. When I got my WES Canada report, It was written that the DOB on my WAEC (01/May/94) differs from my normal DOB(01/Jan/94). And I went to WAEC office and they said they don’t do change of DOB anymore and they can’t help me nor send an email to WEs. Pls what can I do? Will affidavit be enough to explain the discrepancy? Pls I need your help. P.s: I never knew all his while that my weac certificate had a DOB issue as I never collected it from my secondary school since I used online WAEC printout for university purposes and for WES USA so it came as a shock. But I emailed my school last week and they couriered it to me so I could confirm the error. Pls help |

The place where the money is but why liquidate when you can earn small money on top? Marykelly: 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Abdomox: 4:20am On May 01, 2021 |
Marykelly: Don't bother liquidating your MMF investment. You can request your Statement of Account from FBN and use as Proof of Funds. Benefits: 1. You keep earning interest (though small) 2. You avoid risks of account hacking (except you activate PND in your savings account) 1 Like 1 Share |

Well done for the advice. But 8777 is not the maximum score. The scores you mentioned is CLB9. To max out means you have the highest score in IELTS which is CLB10 (8.5, 8, 7.5, 7.5 LRWS) phabulous88: |

Bebe123: If I were you, I would do either or both of the following: 1. Get an affidavit of confirmation of birth and send to WES. Then keep following up with WES 2. Start another ECA with another body. IQAS, CES, etc. They don’t request for WAEC certificate 2 Likes |

I’m actually post AOR and I want to move the investment to another financial institution. I initially submitted the reference letter and statement of account for this particular one I want to liquidate. Abdomox: |

Marykelly:no need informing them. They may have finalized that part of your application already. if they ask for updated proof of funds( which happens once in a blue moon) you will provide reference letter from the new financial institution. 1 Like |

builderperry: It's advisable to have the money and it should have been in your account for minimum of 6 months. The POF letter from your bank should show the average balance for 6 months. However, if you don't have all the money, your immediate family (yourself or your spouse's famiy) can dash (not borrow) you the money. In this case, they do a Gift Deed. A Gift Deed can come in anytime, could be after you receive an ITA or 2 week before you submit your application. Thanks bro. I am most grateful.[1quote author=Naughtyvirgin post=101092399]It's an easy process. Just register with Wes (type Wescanada on Google)online and choose immigration as your purpose for evaluation, select Masters as the document to be evaluated, make payment and get a reference number. Go online on unilag.edu to request for your student transcript, pay the required fee, take your slip to student records in school. They'd process it for you and it should be delivered to Wes in like 2 to 3 weeks. Wait for verification and revert back to school, then you'll be fine. Wes should be around 78k Unilag transcript around 30k+
|

Welcome to the Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program Thread - Part 10Good day all Please I am so new here and I have lots of questions and would appreciate answers. Firstly, I have registered with WES and created a profile. At the last part where I am to submit my application is where I stopped. Now, the issue: I graduated from FUTO and have been trying to go about the transcript but it seems a bit difficult. Please who has gotten his/her transcript from FUTO? How did you do it? I’m not close to Owerri at the moment. Secondly, am I to pay for the WES evaluation before getting FUTO transcript? How much did you guys pay for the WES? Please someone should put me through, I’m just starting the whole process. Thanks so much. |
