Torture2020:Here we go again. Though what you wrote here is your own opinion but I would like to correct you as regard the Ghana must go you just highlighted..If you must tell a story you need to tell the story in full..Ghana deported Nigerians first in 1979 before Nigeria retaliated in 1982,so know you fact before coming online to disgrace yourself. |

I hope you guys followed what you read. The speaker is imploring Ghana to change the $1m trade requirement and Ghana is saying until anything is done about the law, Nigerians or any foreigners affected by the law should obey the laws of the land because even Ghanaians are expected to respect the laws of the land. Nothing has changed ! For an official of a country , Nigeria to travel to another country and ask them to change their laws just to accommodate Nigerians is ridiculous to say the least ! The arrogance and impudence of Nigerians sometimes makes you wonder who the fucking hell this Neanderthals think they are ? Ghana should change it’s laws so you with your huge population would invade Ghana and mess up the retail trade of its population and create a social strife ? You guys must be out of your fucking minds! 4 Likes |

this is the problem I have with you Nigerians. you guys are not smart at all. nigeria is the poverty capital capital of the world, huh? anything that imposes additional hardship on the people shoud be a source for concern. Ghanaians are used to buying fuel at high price, but buying fuel at market price is a good thing. it is good for efficiency. small increase and nigerians are calling for strikes. it shows the level of poverty in that kingdom Notatribalist: |

if there is anyone disgracing himself or herself, it is you. Yes, Ghana deported Nigerians in 1969. Nigeria deported Ghanaians twice, in 1983 and 1985. Shagari deported Ghanaians in 1983 and General Buhari also deported Ghanaians in 1985. Go and study your history before you disgrace yourself. jayjaycee0:Nobody asked them not to sell in Nigeria. They are always free to export their goods through the sea and clear it at Nigerian ports so that the government can earn import duty. They're crying because they thrive in smuggling their products into the country and selling them to make money. I am not a fan of this government though. 2 Likes |

majamajic:How is the guy good? He went to beg Ghanaian government, The response from the Ghanaian government isn't promising. He did not do his homework. Ghanaian government claims Nigeria supplies 25% of gas to their power plants in other to provide electricity for their citizens. Ghanaian government has been defaulting on payment of gas supplies over the past, out of $180 million dollars owed by Ghana ($10 million dollars paid, imagine that) has Nigeria government stop the flow? Ghanaian government makes huge revenue worth $30 billions dollars from Nigerian students who enroll in their universities. Huge fees of non citizens ID cards from non citizens which is extortion, have you seen some one who pay for visas, plus residents permit in Europe and asked to pay for non citizen ID card? Nigerian government has supported their economy from the time of kufour to rawlings millions of dollars for aid yet they treat and harass Nigerian citizens. Nigerian embassy building was destroyed recently but the Nigerian government did nothing, it let it pass. Question : what has Nigeria as a country benefit from ghana as a country. Gbajabiamila, is a coward. You don't go to beg a country to change it's laws or reform it, it would be seen as you are undermining their sovereignty as a country, such countries wouldn't respect you, you only do that when such countries contribute to the huge growth of your country not a country that's a leech. That's why I like trump, he protects the interests of USA, not like other cowards. Trump doesn't share the same views with NATO not to talk of China or some idiotic countries. 1 Like |

Ironi:Finally you decided to make sense this time. One thing is clear, that such a law is very selfish. Another clear fact is that this law is only enforced against Nigerians, for obvious reasons that only Nigerians outdo, outsmart and out-compete Ghanaian traders in their own country. I have never heard of traders of any other nationality being harassed in Ghana. Though Nigeria is a country that is very open to all and sundry, I expect the Nigerian government to create a similar law making any form of trading in Nigeria nearly impossible for Ghanaians only. |

Ironi:Ghana gets about 25 percent of its power from Nigerian gas, and N-Gaz's threat to cut supply by 70 percent would have made it harder to achieve the government's goal of ending power outages this year and could have raised supply costs. Your type are those idiots who come online without fact but display ignorance. Source : https://www.google.com/amp/s/mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSL8N12K3NZ20151020 |

Torture2020:That's how you guys hype your country to those who don't know, if only you knew what reality says. I decided to visit your country this year, and imagine my disappointment! Apart from stable electricity, Nigeria is far more developed than Ghana. Your economy is crap, little salaries but things are so expensive. One of the Ghanaian Uber drivers that drove me kept complaining about how messed up life in Ghana is. He kept referring to Accra as "I cry". Nigerians are in Ghana for just two reasons: to do business where there is far less competition...and to attend universities where there is far less competition for admission too. 2 Likes |
