coming from where we were before I will say our leaders have done a really good job compared to other Niger delta leaders.
Akwa ibom has the second highest investments into Nigeria after Lagos.
Though there is unemployment but the truth is that investments are coming and this disparities are reducing.
And yes Uyo is Finer than any Niger delta state capital(maybe except pH) and we just started
growing.

All states in the SS started receiving 13% derivative same time in year 2000/2001. Akwa Ibom revenue increased in 2007 only after winning all the offshore wells they were sharing with Cross River and some wells from Rivers as well.

Uduaghan and Okowa were Commissioners under James Ibori. He was the godfather that annointed them, and obviosly still has a major role in determining how the state is run, so should take part of the blame of the infrastructural decay of the state and corruption.

I don't know why ibori can't be convicted in Nigeria too since he was found guilty of laundering the state money in the UK. man is walking free and he is even been celebrated in the state up till today. we're the architect of our problems.
