 [size=13pt] The seventh seal I remember where I was and the time of night when I started and finished this movie, it left that deep an impression. "No Country For Old Men", ends with questions this film tackles and dispenses with, in far more humorous, insightful, and interesting ways. A knight comes home from the Crusades, only to find the black plague, religious fanatics flailing themselves in contrition, and Death himself who he challenges to a chess game, where if he wins he may live, and if he looses. . . .  Bergman created the perfect visual metaphors, for death, man's limitations and hopes, faith, skepticism, and weaved them all together into a sumptuous philosophical feast, that anyone could watch (provide they don't mind sub-titles and black and white). In my opinion Bergman's most solid film, and successful film, none of the visual flash of "Persona" or the raw emotion which encapsulates his later work, but indispensable for people interested in movies. [size=13pt]kelz dear . . . BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, in my opinion, is a delightful Disney romance. If you ask me, Gaston (voice of Richard White) was truly diabolical. Still, in my opinion, he was very good-looking. On the other hand, the songs were truly superior. Well, despite the fact that every song in this film was good, I would have to say that the title song was the best. This was probably be because she did most of the singing. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say everyone involved in delightful Disney romance to all of you who haven't seen it. You're in for a good time, so go to the video store, rent it or buy it, kick back with a friend, and watch it. [/size]kelz88: |

Nicolas Cage is a disgrace He should just retire. Matchstick Men was his last good movie. I cant stand him anymore |

Real Steel ke? When I saw it, I gave it 5/10. The corny confident kid thing is annoying to me and not adorable as I think is intended. Anyways, when I saw Warrior, Real Steel went down to 3/10. Warrior is a no bullshit straight to the point movie with a simple plot and stuff I can relate with. Saw Puss in Boots. I liked the cat, hated the movie and the uninspiring story. And that Humpty dude. Let's just say the only decent thing he did was die. Saw HP 7.2. It easily escapes us that Harry Potter and POTC are films that are for kids. Almost everything in the film was predictable for me. Only slight surprise was that Dumbledore and Snape switched personas, that is pragmatic and optimistic Moneyball: Awesome. That is all. |
