There should have been a lesser penalty like one hundred thousand naira fine. This is too harsh joor. Imagine just acquiring a range or is the penalty for smaller cars? 150 Likes 5 Shares |

This level of sanction is just too extreme. Who is to sanction the government for people that die as a result of bad roads? How on earth is this action corrective and not punitive? You're selling of people's cars in this harsh economy Even people when they rush to go buy people car na wa ooo. It's really dog eat dog out there. Well, make them buy. The same government go still collect an sell again 172 Likes 5 Shares |

This is wrong on so many levels. Heavy fine has proven to be more effective and long lasting. Getting traffic offenders to pay like 200k is way better because after paying such amount, they won't commit the offence ever again. Selling their vehicles in front of them is pure wickedness, they hussled and took loans to get that only to lose it in a day just like that. Our politicians and law enforcement agent break the law but i don't see anyone selling their cars. We are suffering in this country 204 Likes 7 Shares |

Then I ask again how do we expect the government to treat us better? The owners of the cars pleaded with people to allow them buy back their cars which fell on deaf ears...... The heart of a Nigerian Man is desperately wicked, and all our political leaders are all products of our disfunctional,cruel,angry,society.... 131 Likes 4 Shares |

This sounds unrealistic. you auctioned a toyota camry 2008 Nigerian used for 1.9m. When tokunbo is just a 100k away. Not everything we see in the news we should believe sometimes. Just being rational 53 Likes 2 Shares |

For me I feel the punishment is too much. Now most of lastma officials will be feeling like God when they hold any traffic offender. At least one way driving is not suppose to cost more than N50k and if you must sell the car, it must be the same N50k the person is suppose to pay after waiting for 6 months and he couldn't come up with the money or you allow him to sell the car there and collect the N50k, give him the balance. 19 Likes |

Sane ppl don't ply one way oh.... Btw, these knuckle heads are just wicked and biased... Danfo will ply both BRT corridors and drive against gbe traffic with total disregard to the laws yet gets a pat on the back from these idiots... Wahala for private car owners in Lagos, cause they're making escape goat of them instead of Danfo drivers.. I forgot, it is Nigeria tho. 13 Likes 1 Share |
