Why isn't anybody screaming "bad journalism!"? Yeah, the story is from the BBC, not The Sun! This is a wack, unbalanced, one-sided reporting. The journalist should have gotten statements from Etuhu and the white bloke to get us into what happened. I believe the guy must have been defending himself, because he's not mad to start beating up people like that. And I also believe this was his first 'major' crime, if not, we would have read the whole history. Etuhu, thanks for defending yourself, you could have been another wasted talent, a la our own Bawomolo.

He should have just walked away! However, this can be difficult to do atimes as emotions may have its way. I hope he gets an appeal. If he behaves well in prison, he will come out within four months.

I think we should cut the guy some slack.
In the face of provocation even the judge may have reacted the same way.
I feel for the guy. I really do.
He has 8 months to reflect on his action but his whole life ahead of him.
Steven Gerrard did worse but got less than a slap on his wrist as punishment.
Oh well that what we get for our status sometimes.
The Important thing would be to pick himself up after this fall.

I just imagine what some of you would have said if the guy dropped down with a punch had pulled a gun and shot him dead or he is in an hospital somewhere with a chattered jaw, Nigerians have been killed for trying to walk away cos they are in a foreign land, especially Europe.
