One Thing the Nigerian Police and the Nigerian Government must take away from this George Floyd's Court Verdict is that IT IS LAWFUL FOR CITIZENS TO VIDEO RECORD WHATEVER A POLICEMAN IS DOING, AS LONG AS THEY DONT PHYSICALLY INTERFERE WITH HIS ACTIONS.

The Attorney General of Minnesota County THANKED all the passers-by who brought out their phone and RECORD what that Killer Policeman was doing, because if not for them, Justice would have been miscarried in this Court trial.
We see Nigerian Police, LYING against accused persons, just to justify their inhuman treatment or even murder of these innocent Victims of Police Brutality..

It’s good he was found guilty. I got tired of the whole trial. It was like watching the OJ Simpson and George Zimmerman cases all over again. I hope he serves the whole life sentence, but I see him appealing or making it out after 7 - 12 years.

I enjoyed and watched (almost) every minute of the Trial on CourtTV since the Prosecution started calling Witness and l learned a lot from the Court room actions. grin

I enjoying watching the Prosecution layout their case and how that very calm Defense Lawyer was trying to sow doubt in the mind of the Jury because all he needed to do was for just ONE JURY to say "Not Guilty" and the case would collapse.

That Defense Lawyer tried so hard but the Video Evidence killed the case beyond any iota of doubt. It was an uphill task for him.

What Chuavin did could've been done by anyone, he was just unlucky to be on duty that day, another officers would've carry the blame, because no way Floyd will survive that day.

The only reason this guy is going to prison is because the whole thing was caught on camera and very repulsive. Many more have gotten away with killing and nothing has happened. It's a good start.

your head dey dia. I was telling my in law same, 2 days ago. He lives in the US. Several of such brutal killings had taken place in the past where nobody would video them and have codedly been drawn under the carpet. Had Floyd died that way unnoticed by bystanders, they'd have said he was reaching for his weapon so, they pinned him down and he died, same way they brutally killed another black guy in baton rouge in 2016. Alton Sterling was his name. The poor guy was selling CD to feed himself and family. One white guy called the police that he was constituting nuisance. He was shot in the heart twice as he was pinned down on cuffs while one store owner was filming the cops secretly. When asked, they said he was killed that way because he was reaching for his gun. I was wondering which hand would he have used to pick the gun in case he truly had one when he was already on cuffs .

By the time the store owner released the video, there was protest wildly in USA and the case later died down . The cops were sided and let go freely without charge. Despite the obvious, they still tried to coin the case in favour of the cop. Only God knows how those among lawyers would male heaven, no be curse. They lie alot, just to defend their Clent for a fee especially on this George Floyd case grin

I've not watched the full video but Chauvin was guilty of excessive force. If he hadn't placed his knee on Floyd's neck for so long, he won't be blamed for his death. That's the koko. It was excessive and unnecessary force.

I don't have a pint of pity for Chauvin. It could be my neck tomorrow and the racist would turn a deaf ear to my plea. It could even be your own neck. He should be locked away.

Don’t be funny....he killed a citizen while discharging his duties... that’s not first degree murder.... even if it is first degree murder...the worst he can get is life in prison....

They will probably give him 10-15years and he’ll get out with parole before the end of his sentence..no judge will give him the maximum sentense attaches to his offense..at the end of the day..they will still consider he’s a cop and it wasn’t a premeditated murder
