I really detest what Kyari did as a high profiled police officer, who has(over the years) carved a niche for himself, due to his active diligence and straight forwardness in handling crimes of various degrees..

He really messed up big time, in the Hush's case..

But on a second thought, it is Kyari now and nobody is attaching it to witch hunting as a result of him belonging to particular ethnic group..

But let the same Kyari be an Igboman for example, you will see Igbos wailing up and down as witch hunting..

Kyari dealt with Evans the kidnapper few years ago, but let the reverse be the case..

A typical Igbo man thinks he is wiser than every other person...

You miserable nitwit, can't you face the topic and your fraudster colleague (Kyari) squarely and leave Igbo out of your misfortunes? Must you wail and gnash teeth over Igbo's existence and obvious successes?

Read the rules of Nairaland, the fact that some rules aren’t enforced doesn’t make it permissible or a ‘privilege’. I urge you to read the rules on the edit comment screen, I think you’d feel less hard done.

You could enter your neighbors house and steal something. If he catches you and decides to fight you and retrieve his items, well it’s his choice. You could go scot free afterwards but if he decides to report you to the police and they take action, it’s a different ball game

The hard working Abba kyari was on his own, minding his own business when yoruba people conspired and gave him bribes. They just wanted to bring the innocent northerner down. This is why we will never hand over power to a yoruba person in 2023, every northerner should beware of the SW and their mission against us.

This had better be sarcasm... He has brought shame on the NPF and FGN as well.

No tribalism sentiment! He's be doing all these dirty work for long but due to lack of accountability made him untouchable! In western regardless of who u are or what u do for the govt there's still Organization that will be monitoring ur step and so but in Naija case they gave the dirty cop blank cheque.

The guy is right.

Especially since Buhari came to power, it is hard to touch an influential Igbo without outcry and accusations of witch hunting.

For example, I read a publication following the arrest warrant on Allen Onyeama. The arrest warrant was termed an attack carried out to cripple businesses owned by Igbos.

In the case of Invictus Obi, he was not really identified with.

James Nwafor was also not supported because many of his supposed victims were Igbos.

People like you see facts and call it malice. Someone was accused with clear evidence s and invited to defend himself. The onus lie on him to go present himself and prove his innocence. He has right to an attorney. Both himself and Hushp never saw it from tribalistic point of view. It was of mutual benefits. It is poor people like you that see as from tribal ground. They make their money, clean or dirty, poor you argue about them in senseless ways. The fact that am Yoruba and even used to know Hushpy doesnt now mean I should defend him knowing fully well that his money is not clean. May you have sense one day. Amen!

Its very easy to identify an aboki. FBI is talking, you are calling Tinubu. Who be Tinubu to FBI? A poor man like you defending someone who is known to leave a flamboyant lifestyle from proceed of a corrupt police. He further threatened to expose other top police officers meaning that they all have shaddy deals. Meanwhile you are here masturbating over Tinubu that your people have already sidelined. May you have sense one day.

This just shows the mind set of Nigerians.

He committed a crime and got caught. Now we have an article detailing how he should have acted so he wouldn't have been caught.

Same narrative with hushpuppy, people saying he was too loud. If it was the loudness that caused his downfall, we should be happy not saying what he should have done differently so he can keep scamming people.

As to this article, the only error Kyari committed was not being an upright policeman

Useless article that does not address the very basis of his many problems

Mistake 1 is that he is/was corrupt

Two do not pally unless they agree, at least to a reasonable extent

No citizen privately sends whatsapp / IG msgs to someone as high ranking as that and gets a response unless there was a prior introduction from a 3rd party and or with previous transactions of similar nature done

Simple

Are you saying we should have said the FBI is witchhunting Kyari?

Deal with issues on its own merit, stop looking for who to point fingers at. A truly intelligent cop as he is being painted should have known not to get in bed with Hush. The whole activities he acted with Hush took about a month, within that month he wasn't able to establish the nexus between Hush and the Vincent, he could not fathom out the issue is of a shady nature, to the extent that he still sent account details to collect settlement.

So much for a brilliant "corpse"

When Kyari was dealing with Evans as you claimed, did Igbos called it witch hunting? As of today, Evans and Obinwane are still in cell in Nigeria and USA respectively and I have never seen any Igbo man speak in support of them.

You don't even seem to know what Kyari is being accused of. From what I have read on Twitter, Kyari allegedly used Interpol wire alerts to track down international criminals resident in Nigeria, dispossessed them of their wealth for himself and his team and then murder them to keep them silent. This was one of the ways he built up his stupendous wealth. Kyari is allegedly worth billions. You think Kyari issue is all about Hushpuppi?

You and him are same...saying rubbish as usual...the reason why kyari is attacked is mainly cus he is a police...naija police technically are thieves and corrupt piece of shits...now for one like him to climb to such level, can you vouch for him that his hands are clean and he hasnt done anything fraudulent...every average person cant like naija police cus of their way of operating. We as citizens might be corrupt but we are victims of the naija police. If James can be looked for to be killed, kyari shouldn't be left out...he is a dirty police with govt backing
