Mine, the screen came on immediately I plugged it into a socket,and almost immediately it became white and started going dim till it became dark blue. It has been same way up till now and I'm scared of giving it to these repairers.

Whenever I switch it on, it comes on but just the dark blue colour shows on the screen

if it is not the screen that is broken, he may not be the one. Electronics develops fault for no just reason sometimes. By the way if you bought the TV less than a year ago it has one year warranty now or even 2 years warranty if it is Samsung or LG. You don't really have a reason to start the quarrel except it is the screen that is broken

Dont accuse your neighbour without evidence, it might have been a coincidence and might be power surge. Just take it to an electronic for check up. He will be in the best position to tell you whether the TV was damaged physically

First off, your headline is misleading, or maybe you failed to include the romance part in the body of your story. Last time i checked, Get together is different from romance.

Secondly, ask him politely if he or any of his guests touched your tv during the party, whether he lies or not, his body language will tell you the truth.

Thirdly, take the tv to a repairer and let him run a check on it. Like some people said, your neighbor may not be responsible but months of redundancy in using the gadget may have affected it. You said you hardly use it. When tvs are not used for months or years, they expire and will refuse to work. It may also be a fake tv like some people said, or something close.

Bottomline, be careful next time when allowing outsiders into your home,especially in your absence. All the best.

Because nobody else enters or entered my apartment. I live alone. I'm extremely careful type that lock everywhere even when there's no danger.

Who know may be current or thunderstorm is the culprit here, please take it easy ,violence no dey end well o. Carry your TV go repair and never allow them use your space again .

If I were you, I do call him probably over the weekend, in the morning when moods are not yet pensive, I would ask him, "Guy since the day I let u use my crib, I've been severely bittered noticing that my screen is faulty and waited this long yet you've not told me about it". If he denies, don't give him room to explain, tell him thanks I'll fix & lock up. Operate on good morning & hello, hi terms with him, no more prolonged pleasantries. Fix ur screen, if possible, if not, buy a new one so that you go get sense for another life. Since a bossom friend bashed my car that was barely a week with follow come paint, I don't give anything I will sob about.

U did not disclose or give us any description of d damage. If it is pbysical damage u wud hv notice easily but may be electrical or internal damage nobody knows . It actually depend on d sort of damage dat can make u link it 2 ur frend. U hv 2 be very careful and u can engage him one on one on just normal talk abt hw d event look like on dat day and u can pick some facts from your discussion with him.
