barcaboi:I think you guys need a refresher on illegality. Moving money to tax havens is legal in almost every country on earth. There are those(usually socialist liberals) who believe that politicians shouldn't do it, but belief is different from law. Man moves money to tax haven is no news. But when man moves stolen wealth to tax haven, that is a crime. There is a reason the Panama papers had no legal consequence for most accused. 4 Likes |

Thank God I saw he owned them before he became Governor. Neither did I hear bullion van moving to London after he became Governor or when he was Governor. As I know, Peter Obi didn't read law to know every expect of Nigerian constitution. He said he was not aware he is obligated to declare asset jointly owned. 1 Like |

Peter Obi wouldn't have been guilty if he did not hold public office. Nonetheless, he is still guilty based on his own admission. Ignorance is not an excuse in law. He should have chosen between his investments and public office to avoid breaking the law. 2 Likes |

seunmsg:Indeed, as if we didn't know you zombies will come with a pathetic stunt like this to discredit a man who your gworo chewing mannequin is not fit to clean his shoes when it comes to integrity. What exactly in that article makes Obi a crook? Did the article say he took anyone's money or any government money? You zombies are so pathetic. If this obvious hit job by one of your immoral Brown envelope journalists couldn't even find any evidence of stealing public funds against Obi despite their best efforts then even your pathetic losers must admit that the man is indeed clean. |

Its here in the southern Nigerian we stupidly make noise on the negative parts of potentials. Tell me who is clean in this country, even among the pastors. Thank God for Edo people that shamed the Gandola, the bourdilon billionaire would have rubbed the Edo people of their mandate. They could not just help it with the stance of the people and the holy mistake made by the APC. Nonpartisan1: 1 Like |

quote author=Nonpartisan1 post=106424095]Peter Obi the lying crook broke 3 Laws of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria: 1. He secretly set up Chains of business concerns abroad 4 years after becoming Governor, ( Probably from the money he stole from Anambra state common patrimony) Offence: In Nigeria, a person is statutorily obligated to withdraw from engaging in or directing a private business, except if it is farming, upon becoming a public officer, Section Six (6) of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act stipulates. 2. Peter IPOB Obi, did not declare this asset, even after stealing Anambra people's money to establish them. Offence: Nigerian public officers are required to declare “immediately after taking office and thereafter all” their properties, assets, and liabilities and those of his (or her) unmarried children under the age of eighteen years,” Nigeria’s 1999 Constitution stipulates (Section 11, Part of the Fifth Schedule). 3. He operated a foreign account while serving as Governor of Anambra state. The former governor could be charged with failing to declare his offshore holdings and their associated assets and operating foreign accounts while being a public officer. Offence: The Nigerian constitution and the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act forbid a public officer from maintaining or operating a bank account outside Nigeria. However, as a governor, Mr. Obi continued to operate and maintain foreign accounts, including with Lloyds TSB. These crooks from the rising sun. When they are not into drugs, 419, terrorism, they are definitely into something more sinister like the case of the soft spoken thief called Peter Obi. Tufiakwa.[/quote] This your submission isn't right if really we are against people looting and mortgaging Nigerian future. I'm not from the land of the rising sun before you term me that. Did you see the post about Nigerians who had companies in Bahamas, Panama, British Virgin Island, etc.. they were more people from the land of head slammers , so when the corrupt report card about any of them is published, I hope you will write in same energy. |
