ThEGodFaThEr105:Why was Wesley Snipes Jailed? Why were Messi and Ronaldo given jail suspension? These two were not even involved directly cos their parent and guidance did it while they focused on playing football, but they faced it. Tax evasion is fraud. So, Peter is a big fraud. Also, the picture in the home page showed he is a fraud distributing money to voters. Please, go and read my comments. Read where someone mentioned two other people from two tribes and I said they are both frauds too. Oga, your problem is that you are tribalistic. And I noticed this to all ibos. They are too tribalistic. But the only difference in your own comment is that you added what I wrote. You wrote all politicians are frauds or thieves...but it is safer to say Most of them. Please, this article is about Peter. And I am not wrong to say it. I will say it again and again. Peter has always been a fraud. Again, rewire your brain. Tax evasion and non declaration of asset when you hold a public position is illegal and fraud. Do not see both as nothing. If you do them, you are a fraud also. 9 Likes 1 Share |

dapolaw:You guys are the ones that need to be freed from your bigotry and hate filled lives. The desperation by you people to mess this man's good name up for nothing is highly nauseating. Manufacturing one pathetic hit job after another on a good man just because of your dirty politics. A man spent years in public life, you couldn't accuse him of stealing even a penny from government coffers, you couldn't accuse him of bad governance so the next thing is to come up with this pathetic hit jobs just grasping at straws to find anything to use to paint his name black. Can you imagine in a cesspool of corruption like Nigeria what you could find to accuse a politician is that he didn't resign from his own company until 14 months into his administration? Seriously? This thing you people are doing is evil and you're the ones that need to be cured of the wickedness in your hearts. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeria is a land of thieves...simple truth....everybody steals in Nigeria. No Saint so dare not say you are looking for a saint. Corruption has always ever be our Modus Operandi in every facets of activities we engage in. Wife steals and lied to the husband, husband steals from his working place, pastor steals from the congregation stylishly, government steals officially and legally from the citizens, children steals from their parents inform of educational needs etc....Nigeria is a country of thieves...even you reading this message knows deep deep inside that You Are a Thief In Your Own Personal And Secret hide out. However, the government nurtured Nigerian to be thieves by denying them the simple little little things of living. Government steals everything from Nigerian and still collects the little they tried to make inform of Tax, this makes people to develop an antidote to the Kleptomaniac of the government by subsequently balancing the evolution of stealing in all areas. |

If Mr. Obi himself isn't denying it in its entirety, why the focus on him? _*The two-year collaboration has so far revealed the financial secrets of not less than 35 current and former world leaders, more than 330 public officials in more than 91 countries and territories.*_ With the above statement, I believe there more highly placed individuals more powerful than Mr. Obi or is this a sort of Witch-hunting or what. Is the so-called Pandora project bourn for Mr. Obi's case? |

PeaceJoyLove:Hello, for the sake of posterity I will advice you to re-read the article but this time read and assimilate. I'm not here to hold any brief for Peter Obi. Let me school you my dear, there's a difference btw tax avoidance and tax evasion. Wesley Snipes, Ronaldo and messi evaded tax which is different from tax avoidance. Tax avoidance ìs legal and it's been carried out by virtually all the wealthy people in the world. People set up assets, cash and companies in what we call tax free havens to avoid paying tax in their own countries. These tax havens or countries use this policy of zero tax to attract investment in their own countries to stimulate economic growth. The only place Peter Obi was guilty is not declaring those assets before becoming governor but after some months of attaining the seat of governorship he still resigned from his role in those companies. My dear, Please read and save yourself from ignorance. 2 Likes |

Do you actually believe he was not aware despite having many lawyers working for him and who probably filed the Asset Declaration on his behalf? Please cut me some.. 2 Likes |
