I went to an hospital for acid reflux /heartburn treatment,ok then i was given some medication and injection, which is fine , it's a private hospital, the amount of money they write for me is ridiculous too.

The main problem is they don't discuss with you the possible side effect of the medicine you're given, i was given a proton pump inhibitors of the strongest quality called "esomeprazole" , ofcourse the doctor told me to go to the nurse and i was given the medication and how to use it that's all, when i got home my mind just told me to look up the drug and it has some serious side effects listed, if I'm not someone who love to look up things on the internet i could have been f**Ked for using the drug especially after prolong exposure. Looked up" esomeprazole nexium drugs"

One of the side effects of taking the drug i was given was kidney damage which can happen at any time, long time effects are basically bone breaking and maybe even cause cancer after using for as long 1 year but the kidney damage can happen even at first try, depending on the person, some people were more tolerant to the drug, i used one dose and i already noticed a change to my pee pattern, i won't use that drug anymore,f""k it,it's clear my body can't tolerate it, i will rather have heartburn than that those deadly side effects.

If you go to an hospital and you were given medications, please look up the drug on the internet and read reviews, the reviews i read were heartbreaking,it work fine for some people though but most had bad things to say ,the drug can even kill , some drugs will treat your illness but put you in a greater danger ,i don't know if all Nigerian hospitals are like this ,this is my first hospital visit in over a decade, the doctors don't seem to care enough ,the nurse cared more, doctors just acts like robots write some notes and send it to a nurse smh .
