Honestly this been a real traumatizing Christmas, meanwhile any body who is from Ezikoba most likely Knows "Oga Nwa Omeh" (Chief Obette Nwa Omeh), that's my grandfather, he was assassinated 21st May 1970, the situation with his assassination was that lt was never resolved, with the Nigerian Military extracting bullets that they confirmed was not of Nigerian origin, meanwhile my two Uncle served in the Biafran army so It a complicated case to prove.

The Nigerian army forced the whole community to take an oath of innocence concerning his death, he built several schools, roads that up till recently the Ofente (Igala) people had to fix up their electric lines through Igogoro Enugu Ezike becuase of his goodwill as he built Igogoro road, connecting Igogoro in Enugu Ezike (Igboland) to Ofante

For me, it more about the trauma of politics and this sort of things and more, most times on here on nairaland, I had mostly prioritise peace and I had condemned assassinations,

I'm deeply sorry for the massive retaliation, the houses burnt and all of that was really out of hand but thankfully, no life had been lost yet, I know you might think what is in a statue but the fact that he was assassinated and you pull down the Statue on Christmas day, saying that he is blocking progress in the market which he was the one that set it up, the road he built and what about the schools, three of which still survived to this day.

Apart from our own men and women, in the service and other walks of life, both Nigerian police and army had come here and left, much people are not happy with what happened, the justice is not for the statues, however we shall temper justice with mercy, but for now Igogoro Market remains on lockdown.

I honestly don't like this type of things, honestly, everything happening is a deterrent, assassination is not funny, especially when unresolved, it lives a trauma, several people on the run, this Xmas that ought to be a happy time.

I can't just take my head off what had happened in between yesterday and today, I'm happy that I'm able to interfere to reduce the instant damages, and thanks to God no life is lost yet, I just want to drop this, here I had missed nairaland and this why I had not been active especially on Xmas period. We outside, I'm staying as safe as possible.

Nbotee and DeITel,two dumbo.

u both are very useless and naive as far as the literary world and aesthetics is concerned. when an adult is reacting to a discourse,u both should go play in the sand.

Nonsense and olodo
