Are Fathers Not That Important? Why Are They Taken For Granted? by DamnnNiggarr: 11:45am On Feb 06, 2022 |
This is strictly my opinion and observation! have you noticed that the only time children talk about their father, praise or shower accolade to their father is when they're announcing his exit/death, because it is near impossible for a child, on a normal ground, to shower accolade on his father unlike they do to mothers. this morning, while I was browsing through Facebook to check for updates and notifications, I stormed upon this Post https://www.facebook.com/1494337709/posts/10220849854344865/ showering praises and accolades on her father because she was announcing to the general public about the demise of her father. Immediately I saw that post, I asked myself, what if this man was to be alive, would this person, a lady for that matter, bring out her time to write this long epistle in the favour of her father? because it is always, my mother is this... my mother is that... making my mother proud etc, thereby relegating the fathers to the background. Why are Fathers remembered only in death? Oh God, help me to train my children so that when that time comes, I will not be relegated. Help me train my children so that, they'll acknowledge the sacrifices made by both parents( their mother and I) in due time. it is only you, oh God, that can help me achieve that. help me so that I'll be the most "loving and best father" in the whole world to them(my kids) she wrote There lived a righteous man!https://www.facebook.com/1494337709/posts/10220849854344865/ RoyalRoy lalasticlala lalasticlala lalasticlala |

yes, most of the time our male parents didnt usually give a sh*t about us. alot of people their male parent leave them under the care of their moms and in Islam ,moms are above dads. A man Asked the prophet pbuh " who should i be obedient to?". The prophet answer" your mother" and the man repeated the question 3 times and the Prophet give the same reply. and in the fourth he said " your dad" 1 Like |

You go take person wey no reason your matter as anything Parents are supposed to be there for their children in the best way they can so if any of them fall short of these then I see no reason why they shouldn't be taken for granted. Do me I do you God no go vex. You can't treat me bad and expect me to treat you well in return family or not, especially family sef. |

Haakeem:alright if you insist! I love both parents but nine months will not make me throw away my father's years of toiling the soil and suffering to ensure our survival and our upbringing into the trash can. |

Tokskob2008:I feel you Bruv! But it depends on the type of the parent sha, Which my dad is excepted. But we all should also remember that one day, we shall reap what we sow. I can't relegate my father and expect my male children to treat me differently, nah! It doesn't work that way. My male children will treat me the same way I treated my father. |

DamnnNiggarr:Well you are right but if he never treated me well why should I do same, because of karma He should have thought of that earlier but then since he didn't then I guess the circle continues... I hate cheating.. |

Tokskob2008:You're right, Yeah, not because of karma, Like I said earlier, it depends on the type of parent. If my father treated me badly, I'll try as much as I can to make a difference. I can't, because that my father treated me badly, treat my children bad, no I can't try such. |
