And like i told you earlier, Russia cutting off gas supply from europe may have slight implications but this can be managed. Germany, Norway, England, Netherland and France are all oil and gas producing countries, it'sjust that for Germany , the gas they produce wont be enough to seeve both domestic and industrial use. This is mainly due to population and ehixh is why they import from Russia. Same with Italy. However, they can always explore an LNG option and it is in discussions currently. I dont care whoever Russia goes to supply their gas to. The main thing is that if sanctions are imposed on them theyll find it hard to sell their gas. Not because china wont buy, but because china wont have a medium to pay them. US,UN and NATO will go as far as removing Russian banks and their routing numbers from international bank transactions. Except the chinese will pay them in chinese yen. Because, for all i know, almost all of the world's oil and gas transactions is done in USD.

US forces were occupying Turkey, Italy and West Germany from the end of the second world war up till 1962 so as to prevent an attack by Russia on their allies. This attack could either be orchestrated from Poland, East Germany or even from Russia. Russian president at the time, now felt the US occupying Turkey or Italy was too close to them and would give the US a "first strike" advantage in the event of a war. So they decided to also look for a way to occupy a territory very close to the US. At that time, they knew the US had a conflict with Cuba because the president turned against them after helping him win elections so they decided to use Cuba. They started bringing in missiles to cuba by flight and sea. Ehen the US realized this, the had to call Russia to take off all those weapons and Russia now brought a bargain of US also pulling out of Turkey and Italy(west Germany was not included in this deal because Russia also occupied east germany) . That was how that issue was solved. Russia instigated the Cuban crisis. This almost led to a third world war because Russian ships almost shot at a US surveillance airplane hovering around Cuba to gather intelligence on what was happening.

However, the leaders of those countries are closet capitalists. And they dont even practice what they profess in its entirety. A socialist system of givernment requires that the government controls everything, citizens are not allowed to set prices etc. It also requires provision to be made for social amenities by the government and for the citizens all for free or at a very subsidized rate. This is not what is happening in those two countries.

No system of Government is perfect. I believe anything goes as long your citizens are fine. Democracy is not for every country same thing with either socialist or capitalist system of government the end point should be progress.
