Nairalanders should devote the same time they devoted to studying the US to studying Russia too for them to know how sophisticated the country is. Imagine comparing a country that just helped Iran to launch a very powerful satellite into orbit few months ago with Nigeria.

Both you and TonySpike are wrong. Rebasing currency has little to do with its value. Economy centres around money dynamics and it is used to exchange value ( product and essential services). Removing zeros can't produce goods or service nor diminish them, but give central banks room to either introduce extra currency and print fewer currencies.
