The Times: Russia takes control of the global wheat market.

According to the British publication, Russia's goal to increase agricultural exports by 50% by 2024 is quite achievable. An important factor in the growth of Russian exports is wheat, the world export of which Moscow has already taken under control.

In April alone, Russian grain exports increased by 18%. Significantly increased world grain prices have allowed the Russian budget to receive $1.9 billion in tax revenues on grain exports since the beginning of the year.

In addition, the publication notes that the export of wheat from Russia covers the deficit formed in the world grain market, including a drop in supplies from Ukraine by 32%.

According to a german military expert Carlo Masala..... He said Putin doesn't have to worry because he seems to continue to gain more than he loses by continuing the war.

"He is doing well. That is why he has no motivation to enter into negotiations," the expert said.

Russia is gaining from the war massively bro. It's even in their interest for it to continue. And the Russian CDS, shoigu said they intentionally slowed their advance. Oil price is at its highest in a while, so Russia is gaining alot. They're achieving some goals also, like this one you just mentioned and some we're not aware of.
The most important thing is gaining control of those Ukrainian lands. They've taken mariupol and if they get their hands on the entirety of Donbas, lugansk they can focus on other juicy parts of Ukraine as well like Odessa. Grab grab grab. Go on boys

Russia is making bastard money. Wait till Fall when gas prices will skyrocket. All of them are now begging for a truce grin. Once Donbas falls, Nikolaev, Odessa, Kharkov is next. Why rush when you have the upper hand?

Na so my brother grin

I keep saying it. The only people who have a say in when the war ends is Russia and the west. Ukraine is merely a pawn here. Both their ability to continue waging the war, and even their future is now in the hands of the West.

The west can one day say, theyre tired of pumping in weapons and money into Ukraine, and thinking of the next sanctions to slap on russia: sanctions that also undermine their own economy. Then they will pressure Ukraine to return to the table. Ukraine will have no choice since they're only able to hang on because of western aids. They'd be steemroled without it. Meanwhile, if Russia even chooses to negotiate, they will have the upper hand, since by then (probably winter) they would have gained control on most of the juicy Ukrainian coastal cities.

It's a war of attrition between the west and Russia. Russia keeps gaining huge incomes from oil, while the west keeps paying hugely for oil. Some of their economy's are even approaching recession e.g Italy. It's only a matter of time before murmuring starts grin its inevitable grin grin grin grin

French journalist Frederic Leckler-Imhoff, a reporter for the BFMTV television channel, was killed today in a Russian attack on the car he was driving in the eastern Ukrainian city of Sverdansk, the main focus of the Donbas fighting. The governor said shrapnel penetrated the protection of the evacuation vehicle and the journalist was hit in the neck and a police officer who was in the vehicle survived because he was wearing a helmet. Due to this, the evacuation from the city was stopped.
Where is the international rage against Russia that the world displayed towards Israel when the Palestinian journalist was killed?

The international Atomic Energy Agency:

Enriched uranium in Iran reached 18 times the limit allowed under the 2015 agreement.

A report released today revealed that Iran's enriched uranium reserves, which stand at 60%, have reached 43.1 kg.
This is 10 kg more than the last published report.

Iran has been given several opportunities to explain the uranium particles that have been discovered in various places over the past three years, but Iran has not provided the agency with any technical explanation for the presence of the particles.

Protests in Iran

Football fans at the Azadi Stadium in the capital Tehran are chanting: "Abadan, Abadan" as a sign of solidarity with the residents of the city of Abadan protesting against the Iranian regime.
This is a significant public expression of protest within the capital that the regime is trying to keep as far away as possible from protests in southern cities.

Europe does not understand how the United States sees the results of the confrontation with Russia in Ukraine.

The corresponding opinion is cited by the Financial Times, citing data from its own sources.

"Returning to the situation before February 24? Refusal to support Donbass? From Crimea? Nothing is clear," the Europeans write.

However, some analysts believe that Washington is deliberately blurring the goals in order to always look like a winner.

"The Europeans would like to know what the final plan of the United States is, because the idea that Russia will lose is too murky," says one EU official.

After EU’s foreign affairs deputy Secretary General Enrique Zamora’s trip to Iran, nuclear talks are back on track. The EU negotiator delivered the message to Iran that the US will not remove the IRGC from the FTO list as part of a nuclear deal, but might negotiate the issue in the future.
The International Atomic Energy Agency said that Iran holds 43.1 kg of 60% enriched uranium.
43.1 kg of 60% enriched uranium is concerning bc it can be turned into 25kg of 90% enriched uranium quickly (w/in approx 2 weeks).
This is the theoretical yardstick for one nuclear weapon, but as is commonly known, further steps towards weaponization are needed to make the actual bomb, as is a decision by Iran to move ahead into this direction.

Israelis vacationing in Turkey received a phone call from security officials in Israel: "Warning of an Iranian attack"

Tangible and immediate threat: The warning issued by the National Security Headquarters of the trip to Turkey came following the identification of an Iranian infrastructure that intends to harm Israelis in the immediate term. In an unusual move: more than 100 Israelis were individually warned of the danger after it was understood that they had been marked - and they were asked to return to Israel. The NSC warning emphasizes that the danger still exists.

This is a complex event: in Israel, they understood that Israeli groups and Israeli vacationers were marked by Iran, so they were warned. There are now 40,000 Israelis in Turkey, 100 of whom have been warned in a special way.

Saudi Arabia and Israel preparing major diplomatic meeting.

At the meeting an aviation agreement and cooperation agreements in research and technology in medicine, agriculture and energy will be signed, a source has told "Globes."

Saudi Arabia is allowing Israeli businesspeople to enter the country with their Israeli passports after receiving a special visa, sources close to the matter have told "Globes." For the most part it is representatives and managers of Israeli technology companies who are being invited to visit by the Saudis. This is a dramatic change and follows the cancellation in recent months of the blanket ban on Israeli passport holders, making it easy for special visas to be obtained.

Dozens of Israeli businesspeople have taken advantage of this option and visited Riyadh, the economic center of Saudi Arabia and other locations like Neom.
All this is preparing the ground for a major diplomatic meeting between Israel and Saudi Arabia with economic and defense components, an international source familiar with the matter has told "Globes." Among other things, agreements will be signed in aviation, and cooperation in research and technology in medicine, agriculture and energy.
The source explained, "The Saudis prefer that, publicly, reporting should focus mainly on economic affairs, because on other subjects there are still many obstacles, but the economic openness testifies to the coming steps that are not far away." These matters have been confirmed by other sources in Israel, the US and even a source in Saudi Arabia itself.

The source said that last week's article in "Globes" on economic relations was translated to Arabic and seen by senior figures in Saudi Arabia. The source said that those senior figures response was that, "The spirit of things was that the time had come that these things should not be concealed. Both countries have much to give each other, and the economic-commercial-technological direction is the right direction at the moment. The publication (in Globes) will also help ties and visits and that's good."
The source added that many Saudis were applying to come to Israel and promote business and see how technologies work, especially in agriculture and advanced technology areas.

Zelenskiy chides EU for failing to agree on Russian oil import ban

EU leaders on Monday made clear they would fail to agree on a Russian oil import ban at a summit in Brussels, prompting swift criticism from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy who chastised them for being too soft on Moscow.
The European Union has rolled out five packages of sanctions since Russia invaded Ukraine more than three months ago, demonstrating uncharacteristic speed and unity given the complexity of the measures.
But the lack of agreement on a sixth package - and in particular on an oil ban - exposed a struggle to widen sanctions as the economic risk for Europe grows, because so many countries depend on Russian crude.

The European Council has decided to ban the import of oil from Russia through tankers, but will still allow the import of oil through oil pipelines. Imports of oil through tankers account for about two-thirds of oil imports from Russia in total. Hungary was excluded from the decision to ban imports as early as the end of 2022.
