Ukraine is quite cheap. Not only the rich send their children there. The average Nigerian family with at least 5 million per annum can afford it. Some families even took loans to send their children to study abroad.
Where you can confirm it is only the rich is countries like USA or Canada.

Lol. How many average Nigerian family makes 5 million per year?

From my observation, including those I interact with, people that go to Ukraine for studies are not from the average Nigerian homes. They are from well above average homes.

I have never seen a poor man's child go to Ukraine for studies.

1) Why should they give them $100? They are children of the rich!

2) $100 is to small, what do they want them to do with it?

(By the way, a lot of the Nigerians in Ukraine were sent there by their state governments and they depend on grants from the state government in order to survive. That's why Governor Tambuwal sent a plane to rescue students from Sokoto State that were trapped in Ukraine).
