Why don't you guys quit this shit arguments, for God's sake if we don't believe in taking risks by having to trust someone someday or trying to pretend to act like fools, how then do u think successes will come our ways? People in the western worlds has accounted for so many successful trials not because they knew what they were doing but because they believed in positivists and making out excels out of impossibilities. Even if the Canadian Government, Agency or whosoever is willing to grant this number of Nigerians their Visa, don't we think that these arguments between ourselves could discourage them? From history and research, Canada welcomes anybody into their country regardless of who you are or where you are from. For example, (1) how many terrorists attacks has been recorded against Canada? (2) How many countries could claim that they have been invaded or fought by Canada? ETC. This is because its a peaceful country and populated by foreigners from different parts of the world. Please cut these craps or I will ban this thread. thank you. |

jonescosmo:Who told you that nonsense? If Canadian welcome anybody into their country then Nigeria will be half empty by now. Western worlds took calculative risks not this pure silly risk, you can go ahead and ban urself and the thread Calling you stupid would be an insult to stupid people. |

Why don't you guys quit this poo arguments, for God's sake if we don't believe in taking risks by having to trust someone someday or trying to pretend to act like fools, how then do u think successes will come our ways? Na wah oo. We are sorry Boss. You compare technological advancements to people fleeing their country in search of the golden fleece. Maybe you should lead these people to the embassy and get Visas for them so that we can all shut the hell up. Afterall, the country is full of foreigners and it has never been attacked. if you have travelled abroad recently, you would have noticed how badly Nigerians are treated by immigration officials of other countries even right here in Africa. These are the things we are trying to avoid. There is nothing wrong with a critical appraisal. A few hours the British PM was still defending his countries involvement in Libya. If you think talking about this is the reason country may be dissuaded then you'd better have another think coming. |

oienst: As part of the "house" let me respond. Because you have one post on another thread does not necessarily make much of a difference. One out of nine isn't significant. Others have joined solely to respond to this thread. I've seen someone post up to 50 times but it was the same thing. When I first joined NL I was involved in one thread, but within the first 9 posts I branched out to others. If Crystal have a "secret formula" for getting workers for Canada, that automatically generates suspicion, and you can't blame Nigerians for that. There is no "secret formula" for working in Canada for two years, unless that "secret" is to make money unscrupulously from Nigerians equally desperate to improve their lot in life. I know of people who went to Canada as temporary workers (not from Nigeria), and what went on was no secret. The sending organisation didn't repeatedly delay the trip for questionable reasons, there was no going to a third country for orientation. "Secret formula" in Nigeria is always an excuse to circumvent due process and not operate above board. You can't compare Coca Cola or Google to what is going on here. They've taken advantage of the market, where they have broken local laws (such as Google having people's information via vulnerable wifi in the UK or Coca Cola's questionable bottled water in India), they also had to pay the price . Neither Coca Cola or Google are so powerful that if they break the law or take advantage of vulnerable situations they will not be called to account. If Crystal Services are sincere, then they are out of their depth on this one. |

Dear Members, I am still here in Lagos. Further to my last post I just want to explain that many services in Canada are on vacation or preparing to key-in on the changes in the new Canadian immigrant laws. Apparently, information on what's possible (and what's plausible) is at bay. Organizations are re-writing their guides and agreements in order to comply with what is envisaged on the new law. The processes from Crystal Services can only be deduced from its foreign partners in homeland Canada - if known. If any of the forum members have any useful knowledge that can - intelligently - guide this forum, please do not hesitate to post them before September 4/5. Thanks and good luck |
Re: The Crystal Service immigration Scam by N101: 3:04pm On Aug 22, 2011 |
CanImServ: I think you would be better off providing an email address or contact number that people can pass on any useful knowledge. Putting it on a public forum may make them vulnerable don't you think? |
Re: The Crystal Service immigration Scam by CanImServ: 3:20pm On Aug 22, 2011 |
Dear Members, I found this post intuitive and amusing. " There is no "secret formula" for working in Canada for two years," There is always a trade secret in every successful and legitimate business otherwise others will take advantage of your exposed skills. Trade secrets are never revealed to any one. However it is possible to be overly secretive and arouse suspicion. We are not however a strictly business network in Canada and do not have an office in Lagos. So, we urge those who are really concerned to stay close to their contacts at Crystal Services, engage an attorney or an investigative journalist and keep their eyes open. Things might be better though, had Crystal Services had a comprehensive website. Good Luck. |

Re: The Crystal Service immigration Scam by N101: 5:24pm On Aug 22, 2011 |
CanImServ: "Secret formula" is applicable to running a business, not moving people people via immigration processes. In this context we are talking of a business that wants to move 40 or 4000 people to another country to work. I don't expect to know the graphic details but then when you hear a company is not going through the prescribed channels, people have every right to question them. If there is anything "secretive" about the immigration process, that can only come from the government in question, not the potential immigrants/emigrants, nor those looking to send workers abroad. While there are legitimate workarounds, no government wants to open themselves to litigation if "secrecy" - and I use the term loosely here - means double standards i.e. breaking their own immigration laws. Even without a website, they could have done a better PR job. Whoever felt the need to advertise on Crystal Services' behalf should have put all the relevant information in the first post, not scatter a number here or address there - you can't blame people for being suspicious if they do that. |

mariofemi: That is wrong, we are not understanding each other one bit, definitely not me. I still see this as a massive fraud, Collecting N1000 + 50,700 naira, for fake medical report is fraud and a disgraceful one in that case |

The war against Crystal service in this forum will end soon , Mariofemi , u have really tried on here , you have enlightened many Nigerians with your posts . I wonder why some people are nosy and abusive about this matter , Mariofemi Kudos to you , its shows you are mature not only in age but in you taught and May God help you |
Re: The Crystal Service immigration Scam by justwise(m): 1:10am On Aug 23, 2011 |
jaypee4r: His post might have enlightened you but to many here-- all mariofemi's post exposes nothing but fraud. You don't get 2yrs Canadian work visa by merely buying a form, $1000 bank loan and fake medical report, you don't stand a chance. |

Re: The Crystal Service immigration Scam by flap005: 3:44pm On Aug 23, 2011 |
Firstly,Canadian embassy don't do sponsorship in Nigeria. anyway,I have called Canadian embassy and I spoke with the Canadian Immigration and they re not aware of such a thing . I don't know the kinda type of sponsorship it's tho. You can only obtain sponsorship visa to Canada in Ghana. This is old type of scam and dunno why people fall for this . It's too good to be true, cos you guys said you'll pay for flight for 7000 people to Canada and give each of them $1000 for BTA. It's summer now,Fare of flight from Nigeria to Canada will cost not less than 250K. If such organisation is legitimate, they should have a website and contact information. This is not professional, cos if you can afford to book a flight ticket for 7000 Nigerians, You should be able to pay $100 for your website. Anyway good luck and have a good one. |
