pboy2buzy:

I changed d dielectric to horinzoltal d tpz went blank,so I had to return it to d vertical, and d signal remained as shown below with IRIB not popin up......what cud b d cause of dis.....please help

Remember a change in the dielectric position should all go with a change on the polarization setting on ur receiver.

Also, place that C-Band in such a way that the block head is at 7/8 o'clock.

Regards.

Very easy bro. You can do it with even a 60cm dish (if you are in the southern region and you fail with 60cm try 90cm but remember to use mpeg4 receiver.

Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by GHONE: 9:53am On Aug 27, 2013
Oooo it has been sad for me. I removed my 1.8m dish to a new place. Since sunday, I've been trying to hit green on Irib but still to no avail. I changed my C-Band LNB(STRONG MODEL) still no solution. I'm really sad!!! Is any one in GHANA still receiving Irib with 1.8m dish? The C-Band LNB has only one way to slot in the di-electric plate. So I don't know how to distinguish the V&H. I'm now confused on how I inserted the first one to hit green b4 I removed the dish to a new place. The dielectric plate has a black material glued to one side. Does that indicate any anything? Also apart from 3964v30000, any easy Tp to track Irib is also humbly requested.

I think I will try and track this irib and see how difficult or funny the signal is misbehaving.I love tracking stubborn satellites like that.

I once tracked this iran package(irib) and did not seem to be difficult like this. I got it with good signal.
@pboy2buzy, while ur dielectric plate is inserted vertically, try twisting ur lnb to be almost facing the sky and see how it is.
Those who are watching the bird, should take notice of the signal quality wether it goes off or decreases sometime as their are many complaints about the bird from our members.

Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by kyleege(m): 12:30pm On Aug 27, 2013
here in southern africa irib is one of the easiest if you track with 4055 v 27500 and get the highest signal possible(1.8m dish), then enter irib tp.

Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by sammu(m): 1:32pm On Aug 27, 2013
Irib package is very easy to track. Use a minimum of 1.8m dish.
As for boy2buzy, his dish has issues and he sorts these issues, he will always have problem with some sats and their signals.
For 2:4m dish, the signal he posted shld read 97%.
1.work on ur dish alignment - while arabsat 5c, adjust ur angle of declination until u hit 97% on 4055 v 27500 and then input 3964 h 30000 for irib
2.Remove the ku as is partially blocking the c band.
3. Cut a new 'groove' under th cband for ku

kyleege: here in southern africa irib is one of the easiest if you track with 4055 v 27500 and get the highest signal possible(1.8m dish), then enter irib tp.

Apparently the full IRIB package is also on Chinasat 12 @ 87.5E

12705H22500 DVB-S/8psk mpeg 4
12705h22000 DVB-S/ mpeg 2

The signal covers the middle of Africa from Sudan to the bottom of Tanzania. My dish cant tilt that far down but those who can can try.
