Management is about functioning in any of these; planning, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling. The 4 most common types of managers are: 👉🏽Top-level managers, 👉🏽Middle managers, 👉🏽First-line managers, 👉🏽Team leaders. 0 - 1 year Exp - Manager 2 - 4 year Exp - Manager 5- -6 year Exp - Full fledged Manager If you are in this category in a SME with limited scope and operations, you are still moving up on your career ladder, don’t let any MD/CEO misguide you that you are a Manager. By the time you apply for a job role with that designation in a bigger organization, the difference is so glaring. Seems they leave out titles such as Coordinators, Supervisors, Officers and Associates among others. Not every job title needs a “manager” title. Hmm! Please respect this title. It is earned with capacity, capabilities and distinct performance.
