The ideal role holder is a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant who will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and providing accurate financial information to support the organization’s operations. Ensuring compliance with regulations pertaining to consumption tax, WHT, VAT and PAYE Pursuing overdue payments, documenting uncollectible debts, and vigilantly monitoring the cash flow. Coordinating stock control operations with warehouse staff, as well as the sales and finance departments. Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS). Performing regular inventory audits and keeping stock purchasing within budget. Assist in the coordination of external audits and regulatory reporting requirements. Ensure financial statements are prepared in line with regulatory standards Identify trends, advice and recommend actions based on sound analysis Ensure compliance with best practice and legal requirements Other tasks as assigned. What you need to succeed Educational background in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field 2+ years of hands-on Finance experience A member of a professional body e.g. ACA,ACCA, CFA (Part or Fully Qualified) Proven knowledge in financial reporting, internal auditing, financial analysis & management, financial software, Microsoft suite and statistical analysis package Excellent presentation, reporting and communication skills Highly confidential with good integrity Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and result-oriented environment Ability to work in a team and multitask Client relationship and engagement skills Tech savvy; good use of collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoho, QuickBooks or similar.
