User09:

A whole lot of twerking for Afrexim.

They must have really come through for him. Can imagine especially with the (likely) moratorium extension.

Insightful from Dangote and a lot of skin in the game. I really liked that about the interview

Puzzling part for me was about the best quality of fuel being exported and the worst refined product being imported back. GloriousGbola, any takes here? or is he just trying to project his refinery in good light?

If dangote is saying we import shit fuel he is right. It has been in the news before. The fuel we import is often rejected by western countries.

Google low quality fuel nigeria

In particular the diesel we import is shit. There was a time lafarge who were buying diesel from us told us our diesel was bad for their machines. Too dirty. I did a lot of research then and found a lot of industrial machines require high grade diesel.

Nigeria is a very peculiar country. There was a year we bought brand new Perkins engine generators and theyball developed faults because the diesel sold in Nigeria was messing with their lift pumps. To solve this problem we had to provide raised external tanks so fuel would enter the generators by gravity.

And our oil is apparently premium. Bonny light oil. Unlike the Saudis oil which is heavy with sulfur.

We have always been importing dodgy fuel, right from the abacha days of smelly petrol. To the engine destroying high ethanol volume fuel of Buharis administration

Yup. We all feared those massive job losses as a major side effect of jacking up fast food minimum wages to $20/hr. Who knows whether that 10,000 would double to 20,000 before the end of August, as some of these restaurants are now engaging robots to work as servers

Learn the history of artificial intelligence in this 1961 film titled "The Thinking Machine":

"We see how a computer can generate a Western story script, watch experiments in mind and computer research with children and animals, and hear a range of scientists, including Claude Shannon, Jerome Y. Lettvin, Douglas T. Ross, Ronald Melzach, Arthur L. Samuel and Barbel Inhelder state their convictions about the future role of computers in society. Film to HD transfer courtesy of MIT 150. Have you read the report titled "Science in the age of AI: How artificial intelligence is
changing the nature and method of scientific research"?

I did last month. It's quite a comprehensive report on the use of AI for science.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution, also known as Industry 4.0, holds a lot of exciting applications that can make the world a much better place.

However, these benefits also have huge risks that must be spotted on time and mitigated.

a man who has been in office for 24 years is who these vacuous illiterates whose only knowledge of politics is recycling idiocy on twitter are using as a reference

small wonder

the other day on the same twitter they had to be corrected by people who actually witnessed abachas reign of terror that abacha was in fact, a bad guy . they were ready to start spewing and regurgitating some abacha was not actually that bad bs

anyways, small wonder, these are the same people who have their head up president for life putins arse

one moment they are wailing about elections, the next they are celebrating sit tight dictators.

let us not talk of Cyril and ANC who have been slowly and surely fking SA's economy over but they cant know this unless they are told. one has to wonder what is in their google feed other than recycled bs from sheim nefertitti

And the Western backed Allassen Quattara nko? Abi you dey get memory loss? Man has been in office since 2010. Your favorite West fought against Gbagbo and installed Allassen. Allassen has completed his constitutionally allowed two term and then he unilaterally changed the Constitution so he can run for a third term which he did and won. Even at that he still barred some politician from participating in the election. The West is not threatening sanctions because he's dancing to their tunes.

Power cuts are expected to last at least another three weeks in parts of Ghana because of a shortage of supplies from Nigeria.
A statement from the state power firm said a temporary shutdown for maintenance works at an unnamed Nigerian gas supplier was to blame.
Ghanaians have endured years of regular power shortages and they even have their own nickname - "dumsor" - which means "on and off" in the Akan language.
Power demand has steadily increased over the past two decades, partly due to rapid urbanisation and population growth.
To end the shortfall, Ghana's government will have to stump up around $400m (£315m) to buy gas and liquid fuel for power plants.
A growing debt may be behind the power shortages that started early this year.
The state power company - the Electricity Company of Ghana - owes about $1.2bn to private energy producers, which also include Nigerian suppliers.

Google ghana owes nigeria gas

They may be owing Nigeria gas anything from $100m to $300m.
Ghana is in an economic downturn, and their subsidy is becoming an albatross.

Maybe it's just blind loyalty that made anyone believe Wike had any chance against Fubara..

A "small boy" governor is just one who's yet to discover his true powers..

the only power that can challenge a sitting governor is that of rhe president, not even chief of staff or vice president.. only president alone can give sitting governors run for his money 💰..

But look at where we are, someone comparing ordinary minister to a sitting governor grin

Like you said, blind loyalty

So far fubara has retired 23 lawbreakers, LGA chairmen and wickedest wike grin
