Generally, countries that enact religious laws tend to be poorer and backward in human development indices. A contrast to Indonesia is Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Those countries are richer, stable, functioning and more prosperous than Indonesia. You don't see Singaporeans working as maids in Saudi Arabia, and even semi-skilled Vietnamese who work outside the country are very choosy and opt to work in Singapore or Japan.

In my opinion, there is absolutely no excuse for anyone or any government anywhere putting itself into or meddling in the sex lives of consenting adult or telling adults what they can and can't do with their bodies. People should be free to live their lives however they want as long as they cause no harm to anybody and consensual sex between adults does not cause harm.
So happy Nigeria doesn't have stupid useless laws like all these countries.

Then you don't know the transition, Christiandom have been through. No Christain Governing Society is accepting the LGBT. It is a thiugh battle for the Church.
Christiandom have learnt to put Religion and Democratic Rule In place. The church isn't Compulsory Forcing the Canon Law on any individual. Such law Is bidding on you if you wholly accept it should bind on you.

The question is what good has premarital sex brought to the world?

We are talking about unwanted pregancy, STDs, play boys use and dump lifestyle, girls being used as ritual during sex, teenage pregnancy, loss of self-respect, loss of family support and so on.

Let us all stop justifying nonsense. Even if God didn't instruct us not to engage in it, morally and medically engaging in sex with multiple parties is wrong. DYOR.

The advantage or remaining chaste outweighs the disadvantage by far.
