It would make more sense if you actually showed me an older democracy than America. That is how a logical argumentation is done. It is not about just making a claim and then expecting everything to fall around your claim.

I'm not here to argue with you

I just wanted you to correct yourself.

Use the internet. (You made the claim, not me, I only disputed your claim that had no evidence attached)

There are host of countries older than America when it comes to democracy.

Greece
Switzerland
Iceland
Finland
San Marino
Isle of Man
Faro Island

(you can prove me wrong by posting evidence of why America is the oldest and not any of the ones I listed above).

Do not take my words for it, do your research as a "logical" student you claim to be.

Note : When responding, remember the keywords you used "Oldest democracy in the world"

⚡Russia's Battlegroup Yug troops shot down a Ukrainian attack helicopter in the Artemovsk (Bakhmut) area

The air defense forces of the Battlegroup Yug destroyed a Ukrainian attack helicopter in the Artemovsk (Bakhmut) area using a Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system, the division commander of the anti-aircraft battery with the call sign "Tikhiy" (Quiet) told Sputnik.

The Buk (9K37) military anti-aircraft missile system is designed to destroy aerodynamic targets under radio jamming, flying at speeds of up to 800 meters per second at low and medium altitudes, and at ranges of up to 30,000 meters.

⚡The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are “counted in millions, not hundreds of thousands.”

The former chief of the general staff of the Polish army, General Raimund Andrzejczak, told the Polsat television channel.

“I believe that Ukrainian losses should be counted in millions, not hundreds of thousands. There are no reserves in this country, no one to fight with. Ukraine is losing this war. The situation is very, very dramatic,” he said.

Putin should be smart enough to know that they just want to buy more time to regroup, gather more weapons, and plan another offense. The West doesn't keep to their word, and they are shameless about it. They have done it before, so I don't think Putin will be foolish enough to agree to this.

Russian polling district in southern Siberia has scrambled to recount votes after presidential candidate Nikolai Kharitonov received more votes than Vladimir Putin in the March 15 to 17 election, according to local media reports.

Putin's such a snowflake he apparently can't stand to lose even a single random district in the middle of Siberia.

Ancient Greece and current Greece are not the same entity.
Also you don't seem to understand that we are talking about uninterrupted regimes. The USA democracy of today is the same government as that created roughly 200 years ago.
Switzerland... No, check the dates.
Finland ... Finland didn't even exist as a country until russian revolution saw it breakaway from Russia.

Dude, you don't understand that for your claim, you have to provide evidence. I'm not in the business of providing evidence for your claims, I have my own claims to prove and many people have claims as well, should I just spend my lifetime proving people's claims or should everybody prove his own claim ?

When you make a claim, anybody is entitled to ask you for evidence, you are not entitled to ask people to prove your own claim for themselves, especially if you are in opposition with the other person. You are basically in a debate and asking your opponent to side with you in the debate.
It is weird that you thought you had a point.

Some of the countries I listed have more than a 1000 years of pure democracy. (Go and research them all)

Assumption doesn't do it here

You keep talking about the US without showing any prove.

Do you know that women weren't voting in the US until 1920?

Do you know that women of colour weren't voting until 1964?

Did you know that until late 1960s, some states in the US still didn't allow women vote?

Did you know that it took another 40 yrs for men of colour to be allowed to vote in some states in the US?

Did you know that the US constitution on the so call democracy wasn't binding on all the states until the 60s+ and took years before all the states agreed to follow the constitution fully?

The right to vote and be voted for as a bonfide citizen of a country is the most important virtue of democracy, the absence of that equals no democracy.

I will end this here.

Not interested in this debate because you're not showing attributes of a good sport.

To prove that American democracy is the oldest (without referring to official documents which say so), I would need to take every democracy on earth and compare their date of Inception to that of America.
You could have simply asked me to provide evidence to my claim, in which case I would have looked for such evidence (mostly in the form of official documents which make that claim, because I'm not going to spend two weeks verifying every democracy on earth). Instead you claimed I were wrong. To prove that American democracy is not the oldest in the world, it suffices to just show one democracy which is older, and you failed to perform that simple task.
I can be excused for believing that American democracy is the oldest if I were wrong, because it could be that my sources of information were wrong and doing the verification by myself is extremely time consuming, but you came here to say that America is not thr oldest democracy on earth, and you did so without a single older democracy to show.

Also, look, I'm not a student, I write books which specialists and students read, you seem stuck in studenthood.

We don't evolve in the same intellectual environment. By the way Albert Einstein is not my model in science, I don't steal other people's work and get famous for that work, also I make less mistakes in my calculations than Albert Einstein did. And finally I'm a mathematician, he was a physicist.
I love his human values though.

[/colorHistorical photos of Chinese bunkers built when USSR threatened to nuke China.

It was all started by a border clash, after which the USSR threatened to use nukes. China thought the USSR was initially bluffing not until USSR asked other communist states and the USA how China would react to a preemptive strike. Then China took them serious.
