How Much Do You Know About The East (episodes) by BossGerald: 12:53am On Dec 30, 2022 |
Many A times here on this forum, I've come across comments from people who claim to have spent some time in the east, yet they couldn't make truthful statements rather deceptive comments about this wonderful region... The merits of the Internet and social media in this time and age can never be over emphasised, we can easily google or search places, find pictures of every city in Nigeria and as well make a good and healthy comparison. And not relying heavily on the media house to reproduce and manufacture sentiment about a place, time and event as it suits them, like it was done in the past. It is very condescending when people refer to Anambra state as a barren region...A state that hosts the biggest market in Western Africa, A state that hosts the most populated urban settlement in Nigeria only after lagos( Obosi city) Japan of Africa(Nnewi) birthed the first indegeneous car manufacturing plant in Nigeria. With so many many other manufacturing companies scattered all over the state. Then how some uninformed people make such demeaning comments about where they've never been remains disturbing. Are they really uninformed or they're being deceptive or it has a political undertone?? Pictures of Enugu coal city alone puts the city well above many other cities in the southern part of the country, all in the southwest except lagos. Same thing with Owerri, Awka and Onitsha. My question still is how much do you really know about the east 1st picture 2nd picture 3rd picture Exterior views of the big onitsha main market 2 Likes

I have made some threads here where I asked Northerners, some of whom are behind the disparaging threads here targeted at Igbos, to show me one single aerial picture of any city in the North, besides the capital Abuja, that is as developed as the city of Onitsha All they could show was flyover bridges in Kano and Kaduna None of them could show an aerial view of of Kaduna or Kano so we can have holistic view of their development So I say, if anyone is not impressed with the South East, let them show us one aerial view picture of a city in their region, besides the former and present capital's Lagos and Abuja, that compares with the city of Onitsha that has the biggest Market in west Africa If you cant do that, stop kidding your self Show me what you have in your Region that looks like Onitsha below, then we can argue 2 Likes 1 Share

LILTJAY: The tread is to educate a numb skull like you about the most progressive region in Nigeria, but hatred won't allow you Lear. When your brothers who are specialists in skullarship give you a treat tomorrow, we'll come here and start cursing them, not knowing that they helped rid the world of one nonentity 3 Likes |

gidgiddy: I also noticed that these set of people are self deceptive and are demonic. They're always quick to say all sorts of nonsense about the east but ask them to show pictures of their environment...they'll be very quick to claim lagos. All they can show in their respective states are government buildings and few GRAs...but their residential areas are slummy 1 Like |
