Only beer palour, illiterate, and unlearned analysts even assumed that the F.G will not honour the interlocutory decision of the Supreme Court. When the Supreme Court of Nigeria makes a decision, the only authority that can upturn it is "God in heaven". There are courts and there is the SUPREME COURT. The decision of the Supreme Court is final as in F I N A L Powerful figures in democracies across the world influence the compositions of the Supreme Court to get their way because they know that the decision of the Supreme Court is final whether in America or anywhere. The first thing Buhari did as a prelude to 2019 polls was to remove the CJN whom he couldn't trust. Last year, a "Yoruba Muslim" CJN was appointed. Una think say the Presidential elections of Africa's most populous country na to insult una papa and mama for social media? 163 Likes 28 Shares |

He has no choice The Supreme Court judgement on the ex parte motion was written in plain baby English and anyone struggling to understand it yet calls himself a lawyer is just being mischievious or criminally-minded Below is what the Supreme Court held: In his ruling, the Justice revealed that after careful consideration of the motion exparte, this application is granted as prayed. “An order of Interim Injunction restraining the federal government through the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) or the commercial banks from suspending or determining or ending on Feb. 10, the time frame with which the now older version of the 200, 500 and 1,000 denomination of the naira may no longer be legal tender pending the hearing and determination of their motion on notice for interlocutory injunction.” It is high time NJC and NBA sanction lawyers making a mockery of the SC on this issue. check my signature for free stuffs! 66 Likes 13 Shares

FreeStuffsNG: Exactly. It's contempt ex facie curia for lawyers to be criticizing a decision of the supreme court because of emotions and political partisanship. The lawyers deserved to be jailed. 80 Likes 17 Shares |

Parachoko:Confused set of human beings. First it was the notes were dyed and of poor quality. Second you supported it because it suits the narrative that it'll prevent Tinubu from buying votes. You go out and queue under the sun waiting to withdraw notes for hours, criticize the policy and at still turn around to say you don't want an extension because you think it affects the chances of thhe ruling party winning the election? What is really wrong with you?😁 101 Likes 15 Shares |

Even if the Supreme Court did not tell you, you don't have eyes to see what your useless policy has coursed? Obi and Atiku will see Shege on election day, what they thought will be the downfall of Bola Tinubu is now a blessing to him, Nigerians with sense now love him for speaking up against Emefailure and his northern puppeteers. 88 Likes 14 Shares |

N3TRAL:Dem no understand...Most people don't know the game at play here...From the look of things, the 3 governors have achieved their aims of slowing down the implementation till after election...We should look at it from holistic point of view..Even World bank and IMF is against the implementation...But some Nigerians are being emotional. 80 Likes 13 Shares |

I never argued with anybody over this, someone said Buhari will not obey it, CBN will trash the order from Supreme court. I only laughed at their ignorance. If CBN fails to abide by the order, so many enlightened citizens will claim damages relying on the order of Supreme court. 60 Likes 7 Shares |

People are suffering. This whole naira redesign has affected and is still affecting alot of people and some blockheads think it should remain that way because they think it increases the chances of their preferred candidate winning the up coming election. you have to be a really stupid person to be an Obi follower. How can you be complaining about something and supporting it at thesame time? 67 Likes 11 Shares |

JAMO84: I am certain that once Tinubu wins the election on February 25th, Emefiele would copy Diezani Allison-Madueke and proceed on foreign leave until Buhari's tenure is over. He would not set his corrupt and conniving feet on Nigerian soil again. 52 Likes 9 Shares |

Jogs1900:If them no give judgement on Feb 15th, the injunction granted earlier won't elapse. They will likely not give judgement E dey b like say Wike wan join the 3 Governors for this case sef So there will likely be an extension till after the election. 33 Likes 4 Shares |

Re: Old Naira Notes: FG Will Obey Supreme Court’s Judgment — Malami by N3TRAL: 12:29am On Feb 10, 2023 |
Jogs1900: The injunction is an interlocutory decision, it subsists pending the determination of the suit to protect the res. In simpler terms, the injunction will be binding on the parties until the Supreme Court decides on the matter. For instance, If a State Government wants to demolish a building and the owner gets an injunction from a high court of the state to prevent the demolition, the injunction will last until the high court decides whether the Government has the right to demolish the building or not because if the Government destroys the building before the judgement of the court, the government will not be able to rebuild the exact building if the court rules in favour of the owner of the building. The central bank of Nigeria and the FG will not be able to repair the damages that will occur because of the rejection of old naira notes if the judgment favours the State Governors at the end. The injunction will therefore subsist till the matter is determined. If judgment is given in 2030, That's when the injunction will elapse 52 Likes 6 Shares |

You don't have choice? Only delution IPOB members are thinking otherwise. They are here arguing with us since. That CBN was not made a party to the case, it's still court that will determine maybe that's right or wrong. 26 Likes 2 Shares |

Asgard13:a house divided against itself they say cannot stand. If Atiku,Obi, and Kwankwaso together couldn't pull of the 2019 elections . What makes you think the PDP will win the election now that they're split? They may have just handed Tinubu victory @the polls on a platter. 32 Likes 6 Shares |
