The only problem now be say, there will still be scarcity unless Buhari gives an order to Emefiele.
That's the real problem people don't realize.
Injunction or no injunction, Buhari and Emefiele can still achieve their aims.
Most of the old notes have been mopped up and the new ones aren't available.
All these factors will help the vote-buying they were trying to avoid.

Supreme court will hear argument of jurisdiction on the 15th...

AND

Possibly adjourn the ruling on the argument for like 3weeks..

With that, APC Governors would have achieved their aim of buying time till after elections..

Then the cabal postpone the election by three weeks
Like it was done in 2015 and 2019

Then what ?

You really think these guys are not spoiling for serious damage ?

The actual stupid people are the abókis who instituted the suit against the dùllárd's administration without joining the CBN as a party in order to have to ensure that they are bound by the outcome of the suit.

And in any event, the case is doomed from the start because all issues having to do with issuance of currency and legal tender in Nigeria is vested in the Federal Government under Item 15 of the Exclusive Legislative List.

But of course, the North always produces poor minds which is why they are so wretched and backwards.

The only way abokis succeed in the legal profession is by Federal character patronage.

FreeStuffsNG:
He has no choice wink

The Supreme Court judgement on the ex parte motion was written in plain baby English and anyone struggling to understand it yet calls himself a lawyer is just being mischievious or criminally-minded

Below is what the Supreme Court held:

In his ruling, the Justice revealed that after careful consideration of the motion exparte, this application is granted as prayed.

An order of Interim Injunction restraining the federal government through the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) or the commercial banks from suspending or determining or ending on Feb. 10, the time frame with which the now older version of the 200, 500 and 1,000 denomination of the naira may no longer be legal tender pending the hearing and determination of their motion on notice for interlocutory injunction.”

It is high time NJC and NBA sanction lawyers making a mockery of the SC on this issue.

Confused set of human beings. First it was the notes were dyed and of poor quality. Second you supported it because it suits the narrative that it'll prevent Tinubu from buying votes. You go out and queue under the sun waiting to withdraw notes for hours, criticize the policy and at still turn around to say you don't want an extension because you think it affects the chances of thhe ruling party winning the election? What is really wrong with you?😁
good question bro..

Nobody talked about FG, what is in the contention is CBN. CBN can still go on with their policies if they wanted to cos they're not even part of the suit in the first place. Another school of thought is, placing them in the suit will also ridicule the Supreme Court cos the CBN is an entity on it's own acting under an existing law
Haba! You still dey argue this matter? Oja go and continue the policies on behalf of CBN let's see you.

A simple question. The court judgment, will it make old or new naira to be abundant in circulation? If no is your answer, then prepare to suffer until a clear cut decision is made.

FGN is driving towards cashless economy, so supreme court judgment only okays using both old and new naira. But the volume of such in circulation are determined by CBN and some politicians who had stocked them for what ever reason.

Remember that a good percentage of the old notes are in the CBN coffers.

Let me help you portrait it little. With Kwankwaso, Atiku, Datti and Shettima up North contesting for President and VP, the suppose bloc vote Tinubu is planning to inherit is under the mold, and will be shared among them. Note also that the North sees Tinubu as a fake Muslim who can't recide the Koran.

When you come to South, we have Obi and Tinubu. For sure Obi dominate SE and SS and sure of 50% and above in each of the state, coming down to SW, Obi is sure of 25% and above in each of the SW state. Note also that Obi will have some reasonable vote up North like Abuja, Benue etc.

In conclusion, Obi will win.

25% from which states in SW. Your state or which state self. Just ans me. Then how many % in the North also and South South ?

The old naira is still a legal tender until 15 February when the suit filed by FG will be examined by the supreme court as simple as that no confusion.

Obi and Atiku will see Shege on election day, what they thought will be the downfall of Bola Tinubu is now a blessing to him, Nigerians with sense now love him for speaking up against Emefailure and his northern puppeteers.
i am beginning to agree that Yorubas are cawards. They way they avoid mentioning Buhari's name in this case makes one thing that Emefiele has been acting without directions. Maybe Emefiele and his wife decided to redesign new naira and also set the expiry date of the old one.

Even when they heard from Buhari's mouth that the deadline stands after given three months notice they still find ways to avoid Buhari.

To remember that these are same urchins that never agreed that Buhari's government has been highjacked since 8 years makes it even more confusing. So many fools here in the ZOO are senseless

People are suffering. This whole naira redesign has affected and is still affecting alot of people and some blockheads think it should remain that way because they think it increases the chances of their preferred candidate winning the up coming election. you have to be a really stupid person to be an Obi follower. How can you be complaining about something and supporting it at thesame time?
you must not show your stupidity even when it is already obvious. How come you are just getting to know about this administration's failure? Probably because it could stop the old criminal from buying votes?

You must be empty headed to be supporting a demented old criminal as a candidate.

If tinubu is the best that Yorubas can present then Yorubas are lacking in human resources.

I am certain that once Tinubu wins the election on February 25th, Emefiele would copy Diezani Allison-Madueke and proceed on foreign leave until Buhari's tenure is over.

He would not set his corrupt and conniving feet on Nigerian soil again.
Calm down lad , Tinubu will never win. Not only Emefiele will be affected, both Buhari and other cabals that's why they will never declear the old criminal the winner. Highest MKO Abiolas treatment will repeat itself that's after a lot of inconclusive elections.

Wait a minute is it not same Buhari that select most competent people that has been working closely with Emefiele? Are you saying that Buhari's government is corrupt? Is Buhari no longer the man of integrity? What has changed? Urchins everywhere

You're missing the whole point. It's pretty simple but it'd be hard for you to understand because bigotry's beclouded your sense of reasoning. Atiku could have effortlessly pulled this off because people are tired of the APC, Obi with his greed left the PDP thinking he stands a chance, there by reducing whatever little votes that would have made the Atiku win. The votes are now split between LP amd PDP and the Yorubas have Obi to thank for it grin making Tinubus victory a smooth one
Where would Tinubu get his votes? Maybe the yorumuslims will make him the president of their Yoruba mosques

We want a stable country where things work, supreme Court should have gone ahead to order banks to release old currency to the system as well, where is the old notes people are celebrating about the judgement? The scarcity of money continue, this is APC problem but the masses are suffering it. APC fighting APC. ATIKU and OBI Have no business in this because they are not in the ruling party or control the any organs of the government. People blaming them are not fair, target your anger to the ruling party.
