Toyosi, how do you make efo riro? any special brand of spinach to use? i just want it to taste like back home. why is their spinach not taste like our efo/spinach?

We buy ours fresh from the local farmers market. . . .

Ma Dad doesn’t like the frozen one . . . .So we buy it whole and then finely chop it before cooking.

But I hear the “Dole” brand is nice. . . .Good for salads and stuff!

Yeah u can eat the Dole brand by itself. . . .but it will require very little steaming otherwise it'll get all mushy on u oo.
