Npower News: Npower EXCOS Plans To Embark On Legal Actions If Ministry Do Not Provide Positive Feedback

According to Npower News, the Executive Committee Members of Npower batch c beneficiaries are planning to embark on serious legal actions should the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation fail to provide positive feedback as regards Npower payment. "Preparations are on their Final stage as we plan to take the Federal Government to court if our scheduled dialogue with the Ministry does not yield any positive results within the month of August." said the Npower Publicity Secretary.
Beneficiaries of Npower batch c are being owed for 9 months while some Npower batch c beneficiaries are being owed for 12 months.
According to Npower News, beneficiaries of Npower batch c are awaiting feedback from the Ministry and should this feedback be negative, the beneficiaries of Npower batch c might resort to legal actions by August.

According to Npower News, the National Association of Npower batch c beneficiaries and the Chief Executive Officer of the National Social Investment Programmes Agency together with the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation are engaging in constant communication regarding Npower payment. Latest by upper week a rescheduled meeting will commence between the National Association of Npower Beneficiaries, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation and the National Social Investment Programmes Agency, after this meeting then Npower payment will commence.
According to Npower News, the National Association of Npower Beneficiaries will not be taking part in the demonstration in the coming days and have advised beneficiaries of Npower batch c that is willing to take part in the demonstration between August 1st to 10th to do so individually.
Should Npower payment not start after the oncoming meeting with the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation then the National Association of Npower beneficiaries will resort to litigation to address issues regarding Npower payment.

It surprises me that no one has noticed this.

Guys, if you really want your Npower payment, join the protest tomorrow using your own placard, stating that Npower beneficiaries haven't been paid since 2020.

Npower Payment: Dr. Luguden Wuta Appointed Director of Operations NASIMS

According to Npower News today, the Npower Publicity Secretary through the National Association of Npower Beneficiaries social handle has said that, "Dr. Luguden Wuta has been Appointed as the Director of Operations NASIMS in charge of Npower."
Npower beneficiaries are expecting the Director to help expedite their Npower payment process so that beneficiaries of Npower batch c can receive their stipends. Npower batch c beneficiaries are owed 9-12 months and have written to the Presidency, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and other top officials of the National Social Investment Programmes Agency and are awaiting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lift the suspension of Npower so that they can receive their stipends.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS NEW HEADS OF AGENCIES AND PROGRAMMES UNDER THE FEDERAL MINISTRY OF HUMANITARIAN AFFAIRS, DISASTER MANAGEMENT AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

To facilitate the needed relief to Nigerians and ensure the effectiveness of humanitarian and social development programmes, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of seven qualified Nigerians to head strategic agencies and programmes under the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.

(1) Dr. Badamasi Lawal -- Chief Executive Officer, National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA).

Dr. Lawal holds a doctorate degree in education, and he previously served as a commissioner in Katsina State.

(2) Ms. Funmilola Olotu -- Programme Manager, National Social Safety-Net Coordinating Office

Ms. Olotu holds a master's degree in business administration, and she is the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on state lotteries.

(3) Ms. Aishat Alubankudi -- Programme Manager, Grant for Vulnerable Groups

Ms. Alubankudi holds a bachelor’s degree in community development. She has experience as a risk assessor and financial manager.

(4) Princess Aderemi Adebowale -- Programme Manager, Home Grown School Feeding

Princess Adebowale holds a doctorate degree. She is the Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Civic Engagement and previously served as a local government chairperson.

(5) Mr. Abdullahi Alhassan Imam -- Programme Manager, National Cash Transfer Office

Mr. Imam holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and has served as chief accountant, Northern Dairies Ltd, and as a bank manager.

(6) Mr. Ayuba Gufwan -- Executive Secretary, National Commission for People with Disabilities

Mr. Gufwan holds an LLB and is the executive director of the Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Centre, Jos.

(7) Ms. Lami Binta Adamu Bello -- Director General, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons

Ms. Binta holds a master's degree in public administration and has served as the Secretary-General of ALGON, and Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Health, as well as Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.

The President expects the new heads of these critical agencies and programmes to discharge the functions of their offices with utmost integrity and diligence so as to ensure that Nigerians, especially vulnerable groups, are the exclusive and direct beneficiaries of his administration's reconfigured welfare programmes.
