N3TRAL:
If the nomination of three or four citizens for the African category of an Anglo-American award is celebrated across the country's Social media space like we defeated Malaria, malnutrition, natal and infant mortality, unemployment, perennial poverty, hunger, mass illiteracy, and insecurity, then it is most candid to say that we've failed as a country.

I don't know if we can ever rise seeing how bad we've fallen.

We've always focused on the least utilitarian things that are usually irrelevant while neglecting the most important things that can make our society a liveable realm.
oga give unto Caesar what is Caesar's this is not the topic for all that let him celebrate his nomination which is a recognition of his hardwork. Besides it's the music he is into that liberated him from the dungeon of all those things you mentioned above which is worth celebrating 🎉

You are really making sense. That is why i believe solving Naija problems is not now because her citizen don't even know when to react to what affect their life. Can you imagine our representative buying Suvs cars, inflation up by double digit within a shot time, naira falling daily sometimes more than double digit within 24hrs,petro increase just to mention a few but the only thing naija can protest for both local and international is death of Mohbad...I really pity the young man but do you know hundreds of people that lost their life steadily because of hardship and insecurity in the land which nobody talk about not to talk of holding protest. They see those ones as normal...It really beat my imagination.

Not everyone is born handsome but wearing clothes, teeth-fittings and hairdos that add to ones ugliness is stupidity.

Just thinking aloud.

Recognising and celebrating others achievements isn't a bad thing. Whether its a big deal for us or not does not matter.
I can imagine there are millions of singers all over the world who would wish to get that recognition

UNTIL you REMOVE Islam and Christianity from Nigeria, you're just wasting your time. Those two religions are the MAIN cause of ALL our issues.
