Totally awesome captain, a defender whose attacking stats overshadowed the stats of the highly overrated gangling dude with the wannabe batman mask ( African player of the year with just one goal in the entire tournament, what a shame). Well deserved. At least we have something to celebrate for. Since 2016 when he decided to play for the super eagles he has been an amazing defender and that earn him a nomination for the CAF player of the year in 2017 because he was too good.
