Not to derail the cash contributions, but may I also suggest that donations in kind be made for the kids(clothes and stuff) as well as foodstuff for the family.

Is r321 taking up the challenge of receiving the contributions?
If not, I can take up the challenge. I can PM my a/c details to OAM4J to PM to all interested to make the contributions into, and alongside another Lagos-based lander, go ahead to donate the contribution, possibly inviting media to cover it.

I have little experience in this, having coordinated a 800k campaign funds for Buhari/Bakare Nairalanders earlier this year.
