Tinubu was just declared winner that's all. I only support it because there has never been any feee and fair Presidential elecion in history . After the field voting the kingmakers sit down and decide on who to declare winner based on various interests involved. It is not peculiar to Nigeria

The fact is, APC votes as a share fell between 2019 and 2023. IN 2019, apc got 19 million votes, in 2023, APC got 8.7 m votes.

What happened was that Obi going to LP meant that PDP votes in the South were split, plus PDP lost a vital region of the country. Up North, Atiku and Kwankwaso split up the northern non- APC votes, and then LP came and took some large parts of the middle belt that would have gone to PDP.

In short, the oppositoon was disunited, the ruling party remained united, even with the last minute arguments between buhari camp and tinubu camp.

Yes, it does not mean I like the idea of the tinubu victory, but at the end of the day, when oppositon is divided, even the worst ruling party would win everytime. Like last year.
