Of course they can get to other parts of West Africa without passing through Yorubaland.  You go through Hausaland or you fly back ad forth or board the ship at Port Harcourt and go over the waters.

This started with my caution to Ibos not to repeat Ojukwu mistake and put their wagons before the horses.  In the interest of erecting a Biafran nation, before you leave Nigeria it is is best to formulate good relationships with those you will need in future for sustainability of your trades and busiess through their territories.  You don't leave a job and make enemy of your boss if you know you might need him at a later time.  You leave bridges intact that you are coming back to use.

If as Nigerians you cannot relate in goodwill with your neighbours, as Biafrans, you still will not have the goodwill towards them.  Forget your pride of bravery, Ojukwu lied to you, it is false that you can fight and dominate over aybody.  Humble yourself and face forward for the sake of your women and children ad their future.  I hope 40yrs from now you are no longer a casualty of any region.  Yoruba cannot change that for you, Hausa cannot change that for you.  Your fate is in your hand to chage your own future so that the cycle of victimization end soon.

Yoruba is not a target of victimization in North but because we cohabit with Ibos in Sabon Gari, when clashes erupt we end up collateral as victims.  Some Yorubas try to stay in their own enclave separate from Ibos but soon the Ibos drift there because they see it as a secure abode to shelter and safeguard against violence.  Yorubas welcome them and give the shelter but the you fools come here and speak ill of the same people that put their heads and lives in line of battle to protect you against danger and call them cowards.  You are the cowards for runnig to find shelter in their eclave  May God punish everyone of you!

you are actually engaging in this silly discussion used to promote hate ?

u are better than this. there are some threads that just needs to be ignored. here is one

I know right, I was trying to know what he's talking about, anyway I've been observing, I think it's best I leave it that way.

Ok, I just wanted to clear that out, because that's why we have waters and boundaries on local and international waters. Just the same way you can fly over a certain airspace (unless restricted), same rule applies to the other Land and Water. As long their is channel leading to international water boundaries, that's what matters. I wish there was a map available to show you how I mean.

cantell:

Mile 12 does more business than any other market in Nigeria you say, how did you get to that conclusion?
Have you been to other parts of nigeria? You guys are so shallow-minded.
If Igbos are mostly small or petty traders, can big businesses survive without them? Dangote or Adenuga can only sell their products thru them.
Have you thought of that? Guess not. All you guys do is to type whatever crap that comes to your mind.
Wealth is evenly distributed among Igbos cos there's a great deal of competition in business in Igboland. Thats the main reason why you see Igbos in many parts of Nigeria/world. To make it in business in the east, you must have enough capital, be a shrewd businessman and very much determined.
In other tribes(especially Hausas & yorubas)wealth is owned by very few people, which is why they have billionaires like dangote and adenuga.

i am happy to engage with you on issues please see my posts i do NOT like rudeness.

your mother and father are shallow minded.

It seems you have comprehension problems. I just gave you a hebrew word(Ibri or Ha ibri) not an anglicized version of what the ancient hebrews call themselves and that's where the Igbos derive their name from. The rest of what you wrote up there is nonsense.
no i do not but your mother does. no doubt

Before Ibos, West had been a thriving center of trade and commerce. Ijebus, Ijeshas, Igbominas, Oros, Tapas, Hausas, . . . . Ibadan was the largest metropolis in sub-saharan Africa. Ilorin was a major exchange center. Ad these were traders in genuine and authentic measures and articles, not fake and sub-standard products.

Everywhere Ibo steps foot the noble codes and protocols of inter-exchange and commerce that were installed and been in practice by the local people are disrespected and trampled. This is one reason people detest your presence in their midst. You talk about expertise in trade but your philosophy of trading in sub-standard products is incompatible with that of others. To you its great, to others it's a nuisance.

^^ homie. No doubt that the places and peoples u mentioned were the s.hit in trading in 1754 but n.igga we're talking about this evening n.igga this evening. Igbos are on top when it comes to trading today no need for debates

If this is true, then it is the way of the world.

Look at how China has flooded U.S. markets with their cheap goods and have grown rich.

People will buy what there money can afford and Igbos have affordable goods. Be thankful for our generosity of lowering prices for goods.

Eze,  very Good response!!  People love Chinese.  They put their horses before the wagon!!  They have a brand - very formidable but also very humble.   What is the Ibo brand?  This is not the first time you have heard me ask this question.  Ibos need a new brand that make people love you.  Have you not heard Negro say this before?

@ aribisala0

What do you know about business?
There's way more money in distribution than production. Those distributing Dangote products alone collectively have higher turnover and profit than Dangote that manufactures the goods. This is why poverty level in Igboland in so low compared to other regions. Dangote alone has created thousands of Igbo multimillionaires.

So figure it out.
Re: Boko Haram: Igbos Flee The North En-masse by NegroNtns(m): 12:09am On Nov 25, 2011
You are still living the Ojukwu brand i every aspect of your social interaction ad inter-tribal relations.  Hence you continue to be the victim, 40yrs after the war.   Get a new brand and end the cycle - for the sake of your women and their children.  Not for the sake of your false ego of bravery.  Bravery has not safeguarded the women and babies agaist attacks ad threats but your humility will.

^^^Shut that putrid, double-speaking opening of yours that passes for a mouth!!! HEEEDIOTT!!! Don't ever think of taking panadol for any perceived Igbo headache. Get it?

Igbos are who we are, and are changing for no one, fool!!! You talk of continuing "to be the victim": have you taken a look at the colossal evil, Igbos (and other southerners/christians as a whole) are confronting up north? Leaving aside events leading up to and including the civil war, you want to stand there and tell me thousands of Igbos up north that have been butchered and killed in cold blood from the 80's to date deserved it b'cos of our "Ojukwu brand" shocked? Just listen to yourself. I suppose the 'poor' northerners that have been orchestrating and carrying out the attacks are really the victims here and deserve pity and understanding, abi?

Ask him ohh.   The Yoruba's that are killed in masses at the North means nothing to him, it's the Igbos that are killed worries him. It's pathetic the kind of people displayed here on Naira land. I do not know why you all are taking him seriously, it the same guy claiming SE needs SW and North.  He's dreams has to be great for him to confuse it with reality.  Everything he writes, need to be taking with a pinch of salt.

That's a very harsh thing to say. Every life is equally important. It's quite unfortunate that our Yoruba brothers are always trying to cover the fact that their kits and kins are equally being killed in north like everyone else.

Igbos are the worst hit mainly because they are mostly christians. Also because they have the largest population of non-indigenes in the north. So, it's not about Balewa's death. What does the average aboki know about what happened in the 60s.
