That's one of the issue we are having in Nigeria. If you go to normal market, the price of the Peak Milk might not even up to N50k but go to supermarket, they can even called it N100k self.

So as how me and my friends went to one restaurant one early morning after leaving the club, imagine the restaurant selling 2 indomies with 2 eggs for 5k.. na how much be the carton of indomies, crate of eggs?

U sound stupid for this comment

The price variations of food items in d normal market n supermarket is not more than 500 naira

You are comparing a restaurant with a supermarket goes a long way to show Ur level of thinking.

Do U know how much for spag in achineese/lebanese restaurant?

Everyone here knows that hospitality business is expensive n their price is way higher Dan a normal spot based on name n the class of people dey deal with.

Get ursef a brain n reduce the daily curses to Ur generation.

Stop gagging people. Can you survive with N48K per month?
Even if it's jacked up to N100K per month, can your kids afford private schools?
Can you afford lesson teachers for them?
A bag of rice is over N70K. Let's say you struggled to buy it, how many days you go take chop am if you're in a family of 4-5 or more?
Reason with reality. Politicians v been heartless and not sincere with fulfilling campaign promises. Let's use disco power supply as sample and the way insecurity is feeling undefeated after over 14 years.

So a family of four will buy one N200 sachet milk and then they will all share it by counting the seed abi. poverty will not kill you and your generation. for your info it is far cheaper to buy bigger container. as for me and my household we buy the 900G container and it goes for N15,000 compared to previous price of N2,500. now if you multiply the 900g by 3 it can give you 2,700g which is closer to the 2,500g Op posted and that means it is supposed to sell for N15,000 x 3 =N45,000 wholesale price oo. because my wife always buy from the market, from the wholesalers.

Did OP mention family of four in the post? You too carry matter far!

It’s like a lecturer giving an example in class using widgets. I have said it many times….You are clearly brain dead.

It was a hypothetical example to illustrate inefficiency. If 10 people are doing the work of 1 person the value or market price of their output does not increase because there are 10 workers. The market does not care! The guy who does the job alone will determine the market price and that will be the benchmark. This is why Nigerian products are not competitive internationally. If you like use 100 man hours to build a car, the price you will get for the car is set by the company who builds a similar car in 20 man hours. The value of Labour output in both factories is the same so the wage for the worker in factory A has to be 5 times less than the wage for the worker in factory B. If your price is any higher because you Labour costs are higher, your cars will be expensive, nobody will buy your cars and you will go out of business.

If you like employ 100 people to extract a barrel of oil when your competitors are employing 20 or 10. The price of your crude is the same in the market. So your workers will have to be paid less to remain in business. This is the productivity problem of the Nigerian worker. The market doesn’t care what the price of peak milk is or whether you can feed yourself on your salary. The supermarket worker would earn more if they didn’t have to employ someone just to tear receipts as if Nigeria is the only place there are supermarket thieves. You go to a Nigerian supermarket and you see idle staff chocking the aisles doing nothing to the point of disturbing the flow of shoppers, each of them is the reason they all collectively earn little. In a supermarket abroad where staff are paid better you do t see all this nonsense you see with Nigerian workers like singing playing music and dancing on duty. The Nigerian worker adds little value and that is why he is paid peanuts.

If you don’t get that it shows (once again) you really are daft.
Still on this foolishness are you?
I didn't even read the nonsense you wrote
Add long as you can't say how you contribute to the economy, you're just a mouthful, empty scallywag.
It is not your business to tell an employer how many hands he needs to do his job.
If you're that smart go and start farming ten tons of maize and show us the results afterwards.

Daft fool

Where else can you get this size of peak milk? Do you think it's just the ordinary normal big size of peak milk you see everywhere?
This is jumbo size. 2019, I bought it 35k at ShopRite. Am not surprised it has gone this high
