So pepe no still see shirt for Ivory coast despite most of their current players not really elite like that...... shocked

Then one needs to question why players like Iwobi just stroll into super eagles starting line up despite sitting on Everton bench more than he plays for them.

Pepe comes on. Will he be at the WC?

Time will tell. So far 1-0 to Cameroon.

Haller hits the cross bar.

Cameroon are celebrating like they have already qualified. Didn't someone explain to them that they have only just made the playoffs?

Ramsdale on making his debut:

"A night I have been dreaming of for a long time, it doesn’t matter who we played or what the score was, it was a special day for myself & my family. Over the next few days I will properly digest it & look back on one the proudest days of my life"

Ramsdale: "Its been my goal every time there’s been games coming up, so as you get that first taste you want even more but between now & Qatar there's a lot of football to be played, so as long as I continue my form with Arsenal I’m sure I can put something in the manager’s mind"

Ramsdale on 3 Arsenal players starting for England:

"Its a really nice evening for us 3 lads & the football club as a whole, as a football club we're making strides & we delivered on the international stage tonight & I couldnt be more proud of those 2 boys

Two days to go and the odds r already in Arsenal's favor.

Not getting carried away tho, knowing d real deal comes after d starting eleven is made public.

Just hoping it stays like this or even gets better.

The Legacy of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

1 He could have played for France because he was born there but he didn't

2 He could have played for Spain because his mother is Spanish but he didn't

3 He chosed to play for Gabon instead in order to pay tribute to His father who was Gabons National Team captain for many years

Iwobi breathes live into the middle when deployed in the SE. Doesn't mean he should be a starter at Everton. Though he needs step up in EPL, the GWG will continue to play crap if his creativity isnt readily available in that Midfield especially.

On the other hand, Ekong was benched vs Arsenal before international break. That was a recipe for disaster. But Rohr still deployed him and Cape Verde really planned specially for him, and he really flopped. He's the weak link for Super Eagles defence. Iwobi is the Saviour/creative mind till further notice evidently.

Guys like Kokane, Sod and Jodera just have to admit that 'Jerry Curl' is a good player apart from his headedness.

I don't think so.

Balogun has the better prospects and skill set but for now Nketiah is better.

Both needs to leave on loan.

I am not one to say people should lose their jobs but Gernot Rohr doesn't deserve to lead the SE beyond this stage else we will be crashing.

We have many good players that should have make the team play well and scare the likes of Senegal and Algeria. But I am not sure we can go pass DRC or Mali not to talk of Egypt or etc if we are drawn with them for the playoffs.

The upcoming AFCON is a good time to try a new coach.

Why is Emmanuel Amunike not being mentioned? I have seen him lead a Tanzania to competitive levels. Plus he is Westerhof and Bonfere Jo brought up. People who understand the Nigeria pattern.

Yeah.. I believe he's matured in his game in France compared to when he was here, but then his behavior is something I won't tolerate in a player reason why I wouldn't want him here.
