As regards the game, I'm concerned about our movement in the final third with the absence of Gabriel Jesus. He brings more than just goals to the front line, I'm worried Nketiah may not bring all that energy for us to overrun the hammers defence quickly before they settle into the game.

I know our defenders are up to the task and with Partey and Xhaka fresh from the world cup we should cook

The worry is genuine but I believe Arteta will find a way for them to play. Nketiah will not bring the energy of GJ but he is a goal poacher and will surely keep the opposite defense busy.

If our wingers and midfielders up their game then there will be no need for Nketiah to drop deep.

That said, I have always advocated for our top striker to stay close to goal. I hope Nketiah does that and it works so that I can have a sense of satisfaction.
