Fuel goes up from 145-600 , that's over %400.
Dollar from $500-$1500 , %300.
Why can't they pay workers at least %200?

Petrol here is #900/ L. Not #600.

Why is Tinubu pricing and haggling over the amount to pay as the minimum wage, like market women haggling over the price of crayfish?

They want to pay almost nothing so as to have more to loot.

Yeye people, they are the one who voted this bullaba government and Baba go slow government

Insulting the President will not solve the issue. If Peter Obi was elected there will still not be any increment in salary at least we can see how much he paid during his time as governor of Anambra State when compared to other States.
One major factor of any good economy which is foundational knowledge is that you have value for money.and Nigeria lost that literally the last 20 years if you compare us to those nations in Europe we like to compare ourselves with whenever we talk about increase in petrol and electricity.

Everybody seems to be supporting this labour demands now hmmm. My question is how many percent of Nigerian work force are employed by government? Who will pay people under private sector and SME their own minimum wage?
Are we ready for the kind of hyperinflation that will make what we are currently facing look like child's play this labour proposed minimum wage will cause if approved?

So what caused the current inflation?

Even NLC knows that what they are proposing is not realistic, but with the reality of things , 100k should be the minimum wage. Things have gone 3 times up , from the 30k it should be like 90k, the extra 10k will kind of balance the reactive inflation in response to the increments.

Tinubu is extremely wicked for not having increased workers pay 1 year after removing petrol subsidy. Very wicked and heartless fellow. Where's all the money he recouped from subsidy removal? Minimum wage in Israel ( that has no oil) is #2M. But Tinubu is here offering a penurious #60k as minimum wage. Wicked and heartless man.

Labour should manage the one they see. I appreciate Tinubu for even taking it from 30K to 60K. If its Buhari govt he won't add more than 10K to the 30K. If you talk Buhari will creat a parallel labour union to weaken the body.
people like you are one of the problems we have in this country and God will seize y’all breath one by one! Stupid fool!

It's high time we go on a nation wide strike... Anything below N120,000 should be a no-no. These same politicians increased their allowances but are dragging their feet over minimum wage. If it were another country, even the president wouldn't sleep

Nigerian reasons with emotion!

Also,70% of NLC supporters are opposition members who are just happy that NLC and FG are at logger heads not as if they want something meaningful.

Very few FG workers are in Level 1 that will receive 60k .Most are Level and above and take home will not be less than 100k at the end.Going above will cause massive grandscale inflation!

You are brainless and a product of poverty.... The current hyper infaltion we are experiencing noww, what caused it? Mumu

Politicians can earn millions with no problem but workers cannot get a pay rise cos it will cause inflation abi?

With this proposed #100K and given your place of residence can you put up a template on how this money will be spent in a month and how much is left for savings.
Just do a template for a single person with no dependent.

Food
Transport
Utility bill(Electricity or water)
Tithe/Alms giving
Toiletries
Provisions
Gas refilling or kerosene
Etc, etc, etc

You dey mind those mumu people! They look for every opportunity to call the govt a bad name without good thinking. Minimum wages issue not only govt decision because whatever decision govt takes would affect private companies if not considered. No matter what they agreed upon private companies would still layoff workers and these people would still blame the govt

Oga shut up.... Its not compulsory private companies pay the same minimum wage as the govt... They can pay something close but not the same.

The 30k minimum wage, not all state govt pays it so use ur brain.

When they fix this minimum wage amount, do they apply the same methodology when they fix fines for offenders or increase tuition fee in public institutions? Because it is funny how you struggle get to 60k minimum wage but Lagos state traffic violation fines can wipe off that amount in less than 1 minute.

In the Nigeria of today, I really don't know how people will survive on 60k monthly without adding corrupt practices to their skill. It's tough.

Comment of a coward. men and women are out there risking EVERYTHING to challenge the government while you are in the comfort of your mother's house giving them cowardly advice because you feel the status quo of rubbish must keep flowing.

Who was the NLC boss during buhari era? do you know what people suffered because of that redundant fool? You want everyone to be like him? Welcome to the new NLC and God bless the NLC boss and all those standing strong beside him.
