To hand unto our children
A BANNER WITHOUT STAIN
I should think the blood shed during the pogrom and the civil war has stained the flag/banner. Just thinking aloud.

The only place you can see highest number of f00ls congregate is in the National Assembly. A whopping number of 469 f00ls (Senate 109 and HofR 360).

That's why no smart, intelligent debate on the house both in Senate and HofR

Things that matter to Nigerians don't get speedy hearing and passage, except f00lish things.

With this type of f00lishness and number of f00ls, Nigeria is a doomed nation.

This one will be included to Tinubu's 1 year in office achievement and the agbadorians will not allow us hear words...

I don't understand the reason why Nigerian youths can't think far on issues of importance but only looking at immediate benefits with no pain. For Both arms of National assembly to have passed the anthem? There must be very good reasons. Remember During campaign and Tinubu inauguration, he kept mentioning " though tongue and tribe may differ, in brotherhood we stand". We later understand that returning to 1960 constitution and restructuring requires some critical political changes. Well, as long as it has future benefits, let's go on.

Re: Tinubu Signs Bill Returning Old Anthem Into Law by pianogirl(f): 4:13pm On May 29
Misplaced priorities.
Why revert back to an anthem that was changed in the first place? How does this address the enonomic hardship Nigerians are currently facing? So you expect an hungry man to start learning how to sing this new anthem? Biggest joke of the century.

I actually love the words in the lyrics. To me, one of the thing we need as a Nigerian is tribal free nation. Where Igbe, Yoruba and Hausa will see themselves as one.

Thank you.

What is the rationale behind jettisoning an anthem written by our own indigenous folks for one penned for us by an expatriate? It makes no sense to me. Perhaps we should also change our flag back to the Union Jack.
